@@Chippy247yeah Chapter 2 felt like a rebalance, Ch3 was the real change imo. Ch4 did alright, but Ch5 has been pretty rough. Foucsing a bit too much on graphics or the meta verse rn, definitely gotta try to make more memorable locations. Chapter 4 did a great job with the quarry area but the jungle was a but hectic. As always balance is key. Definitely hope Epic is able to give us that revamped feeling again after this OG season.
chapter 3 graphics were a perfect blend of the Fortnite style and what chapter 5 tries to do, with the added bonus of being really vivid and beautiful while still feeling like Fortnite
Here are my top 5 chapters (so far) 5. Ch 3 - s1 carried. That’s it 4. Ch 4 - half seasons were good, other half were mid or bad 3. Ch 5 - s1 got off to a bad start, but s2 was fun and s3 got off to an okay start, but after nerfing cars, it is fun now 2. Ch 2 - great seasons in a bad year - 2020 1. Ch 1 - timeless
I remember playing Chapter 1 Season 7 on my old Phenom 2 Gtx 1050 and getting 60fps on high settings, last time i tried playing on that PC i got like 10fps on low. It's crazy how much the graphics and minimum requirements have changed over the years.
i love fortnite and wont stop playing , but man how it sucks the graphics changed, it made me so happy i longed for a cartoony gun game that everyone played and it was so good, i hated realistic looking games and they ended up in that route as well :(
I was an og I played right when it released and even watched my favorite streamers play it. But in like 2020 I started losing interest in it and just wasn't excited as I used to be. I don't keep up with the story anymore and I don't know what any locations are. I remember playing for hours and now when i get on I'll only play some matches and get off and won't go back for a long time. I really hate that i feel this way because i loved this game so much.
ikr, fortnite had such a unique feeling to it because it wasnt realistic or that cartoony, and im so sad that they removed the original font on most stuff
I agree. It doesn’t seem like Fortnite anymore since it’s so realistic yet the characters are still cartoony so it’s strange. Chapter 2 was the best since it still seemed like fortnite just upgraded. Chapter 3 is when it started getting too realistic imo.
I’ve been playing since late ch1 but i got to admit the graphics peaked late ch2-3 , but jumping out from the battle bus during ch4 during the games night time and gliding towards frenzy farm hits different.
Unpopular opinion, but i don't like how the ch1 s1 looks, but around seasons 3-4 it looks the best. Also i hate the acid green colors of the chapter 2. And chapters 4 and 5 both looks gorgeous.
Chapter 3’s clarity stands out so much to me. It was also vibrant, cartoony, and still had aspects of Fortnite’s unique style. I think it was the best mix of Fortnite’s style and good graphics
Chapter 4 had the best graphics it had the almost fake cartoon style of the seasons before it but was so colorful and the graphics were improved a lot it was the way to make Fortnite look next gen without ruining everything (like what chapter 5 did)
Fortnite OG: ch2 is coming this year if the leaked roadmap is true hopefully the roadmap is true because I want Fortnite OG: ch2 and also on the roadmap it shows that next season will be Apocalyptic themed and the season after will be another Marvel season hopefully the roadmap is true because I want the 2nd Marvel season as well if the roadmap is true which I hope it is then we went from fighting the Society, to Greek gods arriving and Zeus wanting to end us, to an Apocalypse, to Marvel, and then back to ch2 with ch2 OG which would be insane and really cool and really fun
For some reason Chapter 3 looks super good in a lot of these comparisons. Its snow biome is really pretty. Though Chapter 2 has a lot of comparisons where it is not very good. I played Chapter 2 on Nintendo Switch so maybe my mind is just stuck on how it looked on that console.
Chapter 3 graphics were the best imo, cause it perfected the chapter 2 ones which were a cleaner version of the chapter 1 ones. At the end of the day I don’t think it’s about graphics, it’s the art style that got lost over the chapters, cause chapter 4 graphics were objectively the best ones, but didn’t really feel like Fortnite in a lot of aspects. Cause season og had better graphics but kept the old art style and that looked really good.
Purée ça a bien changé fornite depuis il ne ressemble au fornite d'avant ça me manque beaucoup le chapitre 1 et aussi le chapitre 2 mes surtout le chapitre 1 qui me manque beaucoup a vécu tant de souvenirs mémorable avec cette saison c'est triste 😢😢😢😭😭😭😭
Chapter 2 easily had the best graphics, because it was cartoony and just screamed Fortnite. However, the graphics were still slightly realistic but in a bright, cartoony manner. Chapter 2 is my favorite chapter anyway so this is nice.
All this graphic power and all we get now is skins that loook like they were drawn in the 70's - just saying - keeping my money in my wallet, you go Epic!
For chapter 1 you have to use like chapter 1 season 1 and chapter 1 season 8 because the graphics changed so much between, so just using season 1 isnt really that fair compared to the other chapters.
Even though this season of legends and mortals is very good because of this participation in collaboration with AVATAR, I still miss chapter 2 season 8

Ain't nobody blinded by nostalgia, game just actually had an artstyle instead of being a soulless billboard for other companies and it looked and ran the best on low settings aswell. Nobody is playing with rt realistically and the game looks like barf in the later chapters on lower graphics
First two chapters look nostalgic, yeah. But chapter 4 looks pretty good. Chapter 5 is more realistic then ever before, but not beauty. Chapter 4 is colorfull and not too so realistic. These flowers makes game look so beautiful
Chapter one has the best textures, it is superior in all aspects, the textures, the fading of the horizon and the color palette, Fortnite has lost its identity since the middle of chapter two
how did they manage to get rid of everything that made this game special? every other chapter had something special about them but 5 is just so bland 😐
@@omccc Disagree. At least ik what art direction they were going for chapter 4, and 5. I cannot say the same thing for chapter 2 & 3. Honestly, I very strongly dislike chapter 2 art-style. It just looks ugly to me, and too saturated
меня графика 1 и 3 главы устраивает более чем, да и вообще графика может и стала лучше, а вот отношение к игрокам становится хуже, баги не фиксят, оптимизацию не делают, а думают только о том как бы побольше денег с нас стрясти, 5 глава апогей наживы, верните 1 или 3 главу хотя бы отдельной игрой и можете оставить нас в покое
