Because it IS Fortnite. These new maps don’t have the same Fortnite feel anymore because they destroyed every bit of its identity with the new chapters and also just copying other games

So many promos and collabs in the later chapters that you really just begin to forget everything that happened in the season before. chapter 1 was simple it had one storyline.

@ferreisd495 yup, the reason I don't even think of getting a collab skin is cuz they dish out a lot of collab skins per season and its become less rare. Like think of travis Scott's skin, it only came out once and never again. I'm not saying epic games should keep it as 1 time only but, atleast make less collab skins and more original skins like in chapter 1

@@DeviL-ll4ln Based on what you just said I assume you didnt even play during that time.. Yes they added a desert Biome, alongside hundreds of other things. Season 5 was all about the Collision of different worlds, they added a lot of new exciting locations, a new form of mobility (Rifts), a lot of new vehicles, guns and other items, the skins and battle pass items were awesome, there were a ton of fun and creative challenges, some brandnew game modes were introduced and overall the hype was so insane during that Season with all the mystery about the Rifts and the "Visitor" i think he was called, who just left the map at the end of season 4 with the biggest live event we have seen up to this point, causing the giant Rift in the Sky. It was peak Fortnite. And I am glad I got to experience it.

First, cuz they change a lot each season start, they not just change some POIs, they add a whole ass BIOME and many other things. Second, now with the yearly chapters, they start developing the new map early so instead of adding more stuff to the same map for 2 years, they make a new map.

True. It’s so sad. Nowadays the updates are completely trash. And the map changes too. They put a gaint biome in the middle of map (jungle) They should add a desert biome in this season

I don't know about you, but ch4 s2 was sick! I loved the whole cyber japanese aesthetic, the battlepass was good, the Attack on Titan weapons were fun to use, and that katana felt amazing to fight with.

Chapter 1 = 10 Seasons Chapter 2 = 8 Seasons Chapter 3 = 4 Seasons Chapter 4 = 4 Seasons (at the moment) So at the moment have 26 Seasons ❤ For me, my favourite is C4S2 because only that Season I bought Battle Pass on my Switch Lite ❤ * same with me OP, C4S2 also my favourite

For me, chapter 1 and 4 for the map changes. Chapter 1 has unpredictable changes with some mystery involved, we didn't knew what was happening, like the cube, a rocket, a monster, etc. Chapter 4 because of the variety of biomes and places we have, medieval, futuristic, snow, japanese, jungle, the only thing missing is a desert. Also very big and innovative pois like the jungle and Mega city. Chapter 3 I liked spiderman and the fight between the 7 and Slone, but no chrome, map changes and specially that disaster of villan and live event... Chapter 2 I liked the UFO season, the history was good, Midas, MARVEL SEASON ONE OF MY FAVOURITES with the super hero theme and the super hero skins (not for the exploit), the flip event god tier, but didn't like season 3, and doesn't hit like chapter one, I feel that its missing the factor of not knowing what is that or where it came from.

Tbh I think chapter 4 would be a better map for a different type of game, but it's very very visually noisy making it a little overwhelming for the current pace of the game compared to the simplicity of the first 2 chapters

There has been good and bad every chapter, but I've enjoyed the changes overall. Keeps the game fresh. I think my favorites have been Ch 1 Season 8 (it was my first new season after I started playing the game, and I loved the Peely and pirate skins as well as Lazy Lagoon) and Ch 2 Season 2 (Agency and Grotto were my favorite places to land). It's fun to reminisce over these maps and watch the changes over time. Thanks for this vid!!

At least this was a really good showcase of the maps, worth watching! Also I'm not sure if its possible ( btw how do you get old seasons footage?) but do you think you can do a video with all every season loading up screens along with the logging in/music and stuff, thank you very for reading because this would be such a great nostalgia video and there aren't any videos on youtube for it. Really good video, my only complaint is that it feels like you focused too much effort on chapter 1, including each event and even showing them on the mini map. But for chapter 2 - 3 you didn't even mention any of the events that happened or even try and add something cool to transition between the seasons, other than that it was great, for your next one just polish up on the other chapters to make the quality even across the whole video, after that it'll be perfect. 👍

I remember chapter 2 season 1 to chapter 2 season 8 so well weeping is my fav poi bc i got my first win either in weeping or right next to it so it hold a deep memory for me and i want it back so badly i grinded so hard for rainbow wolverine and i got it on the event day i miss chapter 2 and its my fav chapter ever i cant rlly pick the seasons but there was some that i didnt think was the greatest fortnite added

I remember playing in season 2 chapter 2 in squads, and we’d send one person to the shark, rig, yacht, grotto/meowscles to get all the mythics, and we successfully did it sometimes! Then we’d meet at the agency and take down Midas (or find whoever had his gun)

@@princeoffriendship because it was almost a blantent copy of chapter 2 season 8, the live event was the worse live event in fn history, the battle pass was almost complete garbage, had the worst fortnitemars or should i say a complete copy of chapter 2 season 8's, the event made the harold aka the main threat of the season a bitch and made the whole season feel pointless, it was perpusfully rushed so they could relies chapter 4, and the theme of the season and the only map changes we got was just...chrome. fortnite usualy has a main theme that is creative. like space, super hero movies, marvel, spy, primal, alian invasion, something that was involved with the fn loar, jungle, ice, and even desert themed. wile that season was just chrome...a color. thats why it was lazy. some of the weapons were good but still that entire season was just so boring and unimaginative.

I started playing Fortnite Battle Royale in its first 2 weeks, the game was pretty empty but so promising and fun to play with friends (and free and easy to run, which helped too). I kept playing a lot every season of Chapter 1 but stopped with Chapter 2. The map was definitely worse imo. Chapter 3 wasn’t as bad but the weapons were weird. Chapter 4 in the other end is very good, as it is the first map that feels almost as good as the original one. I haven’t played Fortnite this much since chapter 1 and it feels so good. The only thing is, I don’t play in normal mode with building I only play in the no construction mode. As a sidenote, I'd like to add that aim assist on consoles is so overpowered against mouse, and since you can’t disable mixed matchmaking, whenever I end up fighting against a console player, I can immediately tell that he has aim assist.

Well luckily for you the next chapter which came out today is just a modified version of chapter 1 season 5 through 10. Chapter 3 and 4 kinda sucked since they were so short and had like nothing major happening. I hope chapter 5 is good tho.

I stopped playing at season 15 and went on to do other things like playing Minecraft or Overwatch or Call of Duty or Genshin Impact, but when season 25 came in. I hesitantly played a little bit and started to get used to playing the game again. I remember the first time I played fortnite and it was back in season 3, but I was quite young at the time and I just ignored it, that was until season 4 came and I was immediately hooked to it. And then I played this game all the way from season 4-15. And now... 3 years later.... I'm back on the game, it was like I never left.. Honestly being someone who has played from A1 day 1 saw all the map changes I may be in the unpopular opinion here but I absolutely loved the last season I thought the map was fire aside from the jungle I wish they would've worked that out and replaced it after chapter 4 season 3 for chapter 4 s4 but what we just came from from brilliant I had so much fun the gameplay was spot on the vaults Kado Thorne being introduced I just thought it was challenging but fun...it is nice going back to those old memories and fun I had back in the day but getting back after about 2hrs the nostalgia wore off and what we thought was great then it's because we didn't know how truly amazing it could get I REALLY hope chapter 5 goes straight back to that chapter 4 season 4 map but just reworked a little bit modern Fortnite but I'm in fear now that they went OG it's going to be a more simple version a mashup between OG and a modern spin I'm praying not but have a feeling..I don't like so much open area and worrying about looting quick then just getting high ground and staying up too that's all this is is a height war whoever can get to the highest point within the zone is winning no cap so loot quick and use those zips or keep rifts on you cause your going to need them I promise you i carry a rift and a grapple with a heal which leaves 2 open spaces for actual guns

As someone who first played Fortnite in OG Season 1, back when it was referred to as a "PUBG Clone", it was one of my most legendary gaming experiences. Don't feel bad, though. The new Fortnite season coming out in the next week will go back in time to Chapter 1 Season 5; you'll get to experience what us old-gens had to deal with.

So basically the story goes, Chapter 1: It was a good island, then some guy from space fell on the planet and built a rocket to escape, but he created a rift in time messing up the cosmic energy in the place then weird things started happening until eventually it blew up. Chapter 2: A new island where other people started showing up and messing with the energy of the island, then over time it got taken over by wildlife, then aliens, then the aliens left an aftermath that corrupted the planet, where we abandoned it for a new island, Chapter 3. Chapter 3: It was a new fresh island when suddenly war struck, after the war was waged it was peaceful for a while then some cube Queen infected the island with a chrome substance until we left that for the next island, Chapter 4: A new island floating fragmented in the middle of a space time rift, the island somehow stands and is a new fresh start. Then over time it grew advanced with technology and wildlife grew rampant, then suddenly a billionaire man with a time machine started collecting rich artifacts with greed but only time will tell if this won’t cause trouble that will yet again destroy the island.
