Only showing characters once. Not every version of them and not necessarily their first appearance. Just their best scenes that display their most use of the power.

Displaying ice powers: Superman: freezes a lot of water, carries it around and extinguishes fire! Freya: creates a huge ice wall! Bobby: turns into ice and shoots ice beams, while surfing on ice! A lot of ice themed super humans: freezes people to death! Storm in that movie that I can't even remember: makes some ice cubes. Poor Storm. =/
Freya's ice powers are more powerful to be honest if she were to be as cruel as her sister. She also can create illusions with her powers (which she did to the huntsman and his girlfriend when she made the huge ice wall)
Cryokinesis is my favorite ability ever and I was pleasantly surprised to find that i've seen every film/series mentioned here. My favorite instance/display of this power was actually in that scene from 'Project Power'. It was so realistic with the guy kicking the literal frost she'd just created off that barrier glass. And then when she froze herself and began to break apart... just brilliant.
Cold powers has a ton of potential that’s rarely well thought out. Freezing people, floors, or shooting cold beams is SO basic. Outside of anime, Elsa is probably the best showcase of its capabilities.
Or freya, but thats why we like their powers, its not actually cryokinesis, its magic in the form of ice and thats why its used in so many more ways than just shooting icebeams and stuff, even iceman despite being an omega level mutant(limit of his power being unknown) he is only ever shown being able to do the basis icepowers stuff, cuz really there isn't much else u can do with them, besides this one time where he made sentient clones of ice but that was a one off comic kinda thing but elsa and freya literally have matter manipulation but centred around ice, they can create perfect intricate shapes, mold them in a way ice can't be molded, create sentient life, create ice that can't melt etc
@@xavierwhitcraft1310 That's how it works, people always takes take advantage of something's popularity and trend, like Twilight "gave birth" to hundreds of TV shows, movies, anime/manga, cartoons, etc, from the vampire theme, to the werewolves, then they expended the themes to witches, demons, and other creatures. Same thing about many major movies and books.
Storm uses cold manipulation in the first 2 X movies which was the coolest imo. Iceman is the most powerful ice🧊 manipulator, right after Cydonna from DC comics
In comics? Ymir of marvel is number 1, cythonna of dc is a kryptonian god ,more of physical power than ice manipulation, ymir of marvel comics is easily the best ice user followed by iceman then ice king of dc
@@oluwadamilola6233 I am talking about the most powerful, not the best user of ice manipulation. Cydonna is far more powerful than Ymir. And Thor himself stated that Iceman's ice is sharper than Ymir and his dimension..
Iceman could technically heal in his ice form. Its much easier since its post apocalyptic winter. But of course they had to take away that power in DOFP or else there will be no story to tell
I think ice powers is so underrated. Fire powers could be more popular among people because is strong and one the most destructive force of nature but ice is a counter of fire and heat!!! and icestorms and cold enviroments can easy kill any life forms and banish any fire of heat. 🥶🌨❄💧
In most cases, the effects seem to look better when the powers come out in a manner which looks more natural like through that condensation mist instead of a beam that turns into ice. The ice looks more natural when it's a mix between transparent and laminated, having it either be clear like a gem or appear like a melted metal makes it look more unrealistic.
I don’t care what anyone says Freya was the most badass with Ice Powers. She turned a whole land to cold and snow and ice. I wouldn’t be surprised if Elsa was truly Freya’s daughter bc Elsa was able to do the same.
The dude from Stargirl everytime he plays a role with powers, He OWNS it. A guy with his skill just died from a truck🤣🤣. And if Bobby got to his full potential as like the comics, the bots couldn't kill him like that.
Out of all these cgi scenes, from the late 1900s to 2020, the movie Days Of Future Past was the absolute best I’ve seen in terms of ice powers. Maybe because of its budget, maybe not. The sheerness in Bobby’s ice transformation is stunning to look at because it gives you a sense that he’s truly made of ice. Matter of fact, the X-Men trilogy that featured Bobby is good.
@@meep9231 I think it is because they were trying to show irl scenes. Like of course, in animation it would be the best but it was more focused on irl and cgi
This video predates the series but one of my absolute FAVORITE displays of cryokinetic abilities happened on S1 of Superman & Lois where Clark blew some freeze breath on his son to get his attention. Simple yet effective. LOVE casual uses of powers!!!!
Technically the king of the Frost Giants & Jack Frost would probably be the strongest ice powers. Iceman from X-men with his full potential reached is up there too. He can make tangible clones made from ice in the comics. Omega level mutant
Wentworth's Snart doesnt have real ice power but he will always be the coolest. His character is already iconic, best thing to happen in The Flash and all of Arrowverse.
At first glance, I thought it was an epic fight between Elsa and Night King. After watching it a bit more, I thought it was a meeting of ice masters beating the crap out of each other. Finally I read the title of the video and my euphoria went away. Anyway, good video.
Jack Frost has ice powers from the 2002 movie Frozen. He has ice manipulation. He can freeze himself, He can create snow and ice. He can walk on water that can turn into ice. He can freeze other people with a blast. He also uses ice powers in a 2012 movie The Fast and the Furious 6 which scares Ben Tennyson when he saw Jack Frost for the first time. Jack Frost was played by Will Smith. Jack Frost appeared in Once Upon a Time Season 3 from Universal Television. He also appeared in a 2013 Disney-Pixar movie Ready Player One. Jack Frost appeared in The Bourne Ultimatum in 2010 when defeating Biff Tannen with Robert Clayton Dean (Tom Cruise) from Universal Pictures' Bad Boys franchise.
This is cool! Also Emma Gilbert. When I was little I wanted to be a mermaid who could freeze water. I thought she was sooo cool. I have rewatched H20 as an adult and I still want to be her and I still want her cryokinesis.
@@AllPowersExplained powerlisting is a good blog/website to use as reference. It lists a bunch of powers and where they were used from comics, games, tv shows, and movies. Also gives you the users that have the power or used it. 😌
I'm glad that Tracy from Heroes got her screen time here, i loved her and her "sister" who had split personality power. I love her even more when she could make herself into liquid
