Iron Man appeared first in Tales Of Suspense #39 in 1963. Then he got his own cartoon on The Marvel Superheroes in 1966. Exo-Man was a 1977 NBC TV pilot movie that failed to get picked up as a series. It was not related to Iron Man in any way and was created by Martin Caidin who also created The Six Million Dollar Man. Exo-Man told the story of a physics professor who witnesses a bank robbery and is crippled by thugs so he won't testify against them. When one of his lab assistants gets killed by a car bomb meant for him, he creates an armored exo-suit to be able to walk again and go after the people who paralyzed him and killed his friend. The actual Iron Man would not be seen in live action until 2008. Exo-Man is not a Marvel character and has never been in any comic books or cartoons. There is a resemblance to Iron Man but it is just a coincidence. Tony Stark is Iron Man Nicholas Conrad is Exo-Man Anybody who thinks they are the same is ignorant.

Iron Man was created for Marvel Comics' Tales Of Suspense #39 in 1963. Exo-Man first aired on NBC on June 18, 1977. If he was owned by Marvel Comics, it would have said so in the end credits like for Spider-Man (1977), The Incredible Hulk (1977), Dr. Strange (1978) and Captain America (1979). Marvel would have sued the shit out of somebody that made an Iron Man movie without their permission.
