Welcome to the evolution of Knuckles in Sonic movies and tv show from 1996 to 2022. Since the new Sonic the Hedgehog 2 movie is coming out soon I wanted to show everyone how Knuckles has evolved over the years. There will be many of Knuckles best moments in this evolution.

@@tanimation7289 He looks way more reserved in the trailers than he does in X. He was really quick to yell in X. This one seems more focused and less sloppy/loud. I know he wasn’t always like that in X, but I like my Knuckles quieter like he was in the classic/Adventure days.

@@goojo173 It’s more about a serious and less dumb Knuckles that’s determined to guard the Master Emerald from anything and anyone. As well as finding the other emeralds/shards. Besides theres a new spin off about him coming and I bet it will be like Sonic X (particularly episode 17 in every way.)

I loved it in sonic x when knuckles is smashing down all the trees when sonic is awkwardly running like a clown and taunts him with his tounge and then knuckles looks so pissed, seriously that scene always makes me laugh so harf

Mania Adventures is definitely my favorite version from the shows so far, but movie Knuckles is definitely gonna take that spot (especially if that new live action show is any good, here’s to seeing live action echidna lore… hopefully). UPDATE: Yes, movie Knuckles was perfect! He was absolutely hilarious but still a very capable character. Idris Elba did a phenomenal job with his voice. And we got that live action echidna lore!

I think the knuckles on the movie is what they should do for Sonic Boom. Is bulkier than the original but maintain the basics. Tough all boom design feel taller and bigger the the modern design, they exaggerated with Him Edit: just now I noted that Boom Knuckles face overall is much more rounder than any other version, that was the thing that was bothering me but can't identity until now

@@leeperry3083 i talking only of the characters design, aside the quality of the game and other media. It's simply comparing both redesign of Knuckles because they follow the same basics to redesign (make Knuckles body reflect more his physical strength. PD: besides these are the only 2 redesign of him that Don't stuck to the classic, the one follow these in in change are Knuckles with a hat in Sonic Movie(2 ova).

Sonic X is a big improvement right when I was born. 2014: Sonic Boom was disaster! Cute animation but terrible/not serious enough character to fit Sonic franchise.

Knuckles was tricked by eggman into thinking sonic was evil in sonic 3&k but after that they became friends after he found out the truth. This movie is like a reboot of that egsept it’s new and not outdated like the games back then

I'm glad idiot/comic relief Knuckles is not appearing in the movie, it looks like he going to be the tough fighter that he should be, of course the voice actor for the film sounds like they are really in touch with what the character should be, not what he devolved into! Thou one thing, I would love for them to do at some point is to give him the hat from the OVA

I think maybe it was that Travis Willingham doesn't make knuckles intimidating whilst Idris Elba has that low menacing voice for knuckles (It would've been cool to have Travis come back to play knuckles)
