I play this game every couple years

A Legend of Mana 2 will never happen because Children of Mana is the Sequel to this. After the Realm of Mana was recreated after defeating the First Goddess, the Manatribe appears and has to choose two of them to keep the Sword and the Tree and also the whole realm save and sound. Randi was the last KNOWN Manatribe born of this traditional happen. His Mother was a Tree maiden and his Father the chosen one to keep the world save and by using the sword. The last KNOWN Treemaiden was Fuji/Helena/Elena from Final Fantasy Adventures (Mystic Quest or Adventures of Mana or Sword of Mana) she and her Mother belongs to Randi as his daughter and his wife. What really happened to him was never told. Another fact Secret of Mana is a Pre-Sequel to Mystic Quest is Julius Vandole, the Son of the deceased Imperator Vandole who has been defeated by the Gemma-Knights, appears as the main-antagonist. Gemma (Jema in Remake) have been mentioned they defeated Vandole by using the sword. It's a fact only Members from Manatribe, or Tree/Fairy/Goddess Chosen ones can handle the sword. Gemma was a Member of this family. A Theory, since we know more about the appereance of Serin (Randis Father) is that Gemma could also be related to Randi. Maybe the Brother of Serin and this would make him an uncle to Randi. After all: It is possible Randi has started family with a unknown woman. Prim as possible Mother to Fuji can't work. Her Eyes are may be blue but her ears are pointy. The Mother of Fuji appears with normal ears. She should be a normal human who was chosen by the last Members of the Tribe to be Randis Wife and become the next Goddess and the next Tree. Fuji talked to her mother's spirit after Julius Vendole was defeated by Sumo. She said Fuji wasn't truly able to protect the Manatree but was, like her, a seed to become the next Tree. Fuji told Sumo she was the Last of her line. Randi has been allready the last of HIS line. But it seems he was able having a successor instead of his mother. Legend of Mana is chronological the FIRST Story of Mana. The Goddess herself choosed Shiloh and Serafina to create the World by scratch! (You playing god in this game... you can chose nearly every place for your artifacts. Shiloh means "Heavenly Peace" and Serafina is derived from the seraphim a high ordered angle. :P Well It won't happen we gonna have another Legend of Mana. Because there could be only ONE Legend of Mana.

I tried to look up Mythic Quest many times and the only results I find are of games that bear absolutely 0 resemblance, as if another game was released under the same name that completely overshadowed and makes the original basically unfindable.

@@DreadKyller MYSTIC, not Mythic. As I said, Mystic Quest was the name Final Fantasy Adventure/Seiken Densetu 1 (the first game in the Mana series) was called in Europe. Incidentially, one of the first games released on Nintendo platforms that was actually localized into many different languages, including German. That was my second mana game i played. Was really good.

I cried at the ending man. Really loved it as a kid.

Yes. I still own this one. Not the best, but a solid RPG in its own right
