For those who doesn't know the difference of Snake Eater (2004) and Subsistence, is that Snake Eater (2004) was using the same camera from MGS1 and MGS2 which made the gameplay a bit difficult to notice the enemies aren't watching you, while Subsistence fixed the camera issue by using the prototype camera of MGS4, but the old camera is still there just toggling it with the left analog button, which the HD collection are running that version instead, Subsistence also has the original Metal Gear games which is running on a MSX emulator, Secret Theater which is actually like bloopers scenes of the game and some goofy stuffs, and Subsistence has Online mode which it still works if you find some tutorials about how to play PS2 games online, you can even download unique camouflages that were only exclusive on the PS2
Metal Gear for the MSX2 and NES was awesome. But Snake's Revenge should've been released for Sega's Genesis/MegaDrive and Game Gear. Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake on the other hand should've been released for the SNES/SFC and Game Boy.
I also liked Metal Gear Solid 2 and Metal Gear Solid 3 and Metal Gear Solid 4 as well. If you want to play very good Metal Gear Solid games, play Metal Gear Solid 1, 2, 3 and 4. The rest are garbage games. Here is my ranking for Metal Gear Solid games: Metal Gear Solid 2 (This was a close one between Metal Gear Solid 1 and 2, but what sealed the deal for me as the best Metal Gear Solid game was the Codec conversation between Raiden and AI Colonel Campbell at the end of MGS2. Kojima accurately predicted the future 15-20 years after the game was released. Plus, the graphics of Metal Gear Solid 2 were more advanced than Metal Gear Solid 1.) Metal Gear Solid 1 Metal Gear Solid 3 Metal Gear Solid 4
I want to think they are gonna remake the series or hope so! By the games timeline metal gear solid 3 is the first event by story line and they may follow the timeline in remakes I personally hope so!
I remember when Ground Zeroes demo came out it had the most amazing graphics to my brain, but the game had such an odd release like in sequences that I never bothered to later buy and pick it up
