EVOLUTION OF "Navarre" Archetype in Fire Emblem Games (1990-2017) 

In Fire Emblem games this archetype is based off Navarre from the first game in the series, Shadow Dragon and the Blade of Light. Story-wise, Navarres are often silent and distant to others in the army. They also may follow strict warrior codes. Gameplay-wise, Navarres are early game swordsmen who first appear as enemies who the player must talk to in order to recruit them. They specialize in speed and skill and land many critical hits with the killing edges they come with.
