I prefer it when the nuke (or its alternatives) just ends the game outright. It feels weird getting 25-30 kills in a row and all it gets you is a free team wipe, then the game just continues as normal. If you're stomping a match hard enough to where you're going 25-0, the game should consider the nuke as an act of mercy for the other team.
Somebody once pointed out that Vanguard's V2 rockets have the added horror of seeing your player's eyes burn out before dying, simulating similar effects in real life
1:45 that’s a nice touch how the allied announcer says “captured V2 rocket”, instead of pretending that it would be normal for the allies to have them.
You have Modern warfare giving a nuke that just destroys the map WWII has a JB-1 / V-1 that slams into the ground And then Infinite Warfare just has you getting glassed into nothingness by a canon that can destroy a city hitting you at point black
