The Nintendo PlayStation controller is real, but the system was never released. I know most people probably know this but I’m just pointing it out for the people who don’t know
@@ericvidales2463 it was only a concept but even if it was not we all know there was gonna be one kid who had it to use (the weird kid more than likely) or to pawn it off to his friend to play with.
Pure nostalgia, this is man. No one can ever compare the feelings you get from hearing that PS1 Intro, and remembering your childhood, and the good times. Still glad I still have and play on my PS1, and PS2 till this day. Nothing will ever be like this, how I wish I could go back to the good old days.
A little backstory on that first one. Back before the first Playstation, Sony was helping Nintendo develop chips for their system. In the early to mid 90s, they both wanted to work together to make a disk based system called the Playstation. Early models of the controller used the SNES’s model just as a placeholder. Nearing the end of development, Nintendo thought it could be a bad idea of Sony had control of the games on their system, so they backed out and formed a partnership with Philips. Although their partnership was over, Sony continued to develop the system to what we all know and love. Nintendo and Philips on the other hand created the colossal failure that was the Philips CDi. Fun fact, if you cover or remove the handles and joysticks on the Playstation controllers before the PS4, you can see a slight resemblance to a SNES controller.
For those who think that the 1st one is the snes controller, Sony collaborated with Nintendo to make a console, but at the end, nintendo cancelled it, and that, kids, is how playstation was made.
The ps1 controller started out with no analogue sticks, they added them with the dualshock, ps2 had rumble, ps3 had scrapped motion controllers that were replaced with the ps button and we had the touch pad on the ps4 and happily feedback and adaptive triggers on the ps5, not to mention playstation move and playstation vr aim controllers, all different in their own rights.
@@4spect449 Sony PlayStation: Scrapped controller for a scrapped console PS1: No analog for the first, Dual Analog had longer handles and concave thimbsticks, Dualshock had convex thimbsticks and the handle length was reverted PS2: Black and with rumble PS3: Included motion controls and there was no analog button, but a PS button PS4: Touchpad, light bar, option/share button, redesigned controller shape, concave thumb sticks PS5: Redesigned controller shape again, black and white, includes haptics and adaptive triggers.
@@gseholm then I don't see how you came to that conclusion. Since the ps1 it's looked and felt nice. The boomerang controller is weird af but their normal line is perfect
@@beartuck4488 All the playstation controllers up until the PS5 controller look horrible. The ps4 controller doesn't have any curve so it doesn't fit nicely in my hands and the buttons are just a mess.
I love dualshock playsation two releace when IM still a child...2 years i play PlayStation 2❤️❤️❤️ and now im adult...but i very happy when i find this ps2
I love the PS5 controller, especially in functionality I think it's the best controller. But the PS4 controller to me is my overall favourite in terms of how it looks. It's just so sleek and futuristic. Definitely ahead of its time.
@@generalgrievous6648 don't you know by now sony copied everything if it wasn't for xbox there wouldn't be a playstation lol . it's hard to believe but there are some that say that .
@@generalgrievous6648 for one I was joking 😆 I been around for awhile I had a nes like a year after it released ok but I was joking about how people say playstation copied xbox if anything xbox copied playstation . I thought you would of caught on to what I was saying but it's all good .
The first one is unholy creation, not bc it exists, but bc Nintendo partnered with Philips.... I felt like that excuse was: Mom:take the trash out Me:I can't, I partnered with Philips
