This is why Luigi is the best character. He’s terrified of ghosts, but still decides to adopt this poor dog because it just needs a home. What a good man.
Yes. And then there's the fact that Polterpup gave Luigi trouble at some points of the game(albeit unintentionally). Despite this, he not only forgives but even adopts Polterpup. 😊 And it proved to be a major blessing in disguise as Polterpup would save Luigi from King Boo. Twice, AND help him throughout Luigi's Mansion 3, and not just by reviving him. And you gotta admit Luigi and Polterpup are just so cute together! ❤
I really hope Polterpup becomes a main staple for Luigi not just in Luigi’s Mansion but in other future Mario games, at least in Easter eggs and referenced.
After seeing the wild and monstrous form of PolterKitty, I start to think, if Polterpup and other ghost animals would also have a monstrous form, something to say that they have not lost their instincts as animals If I had to think about what Polterpup's wild and monstrous form would look like, would it be a ghostly Cerberus (I say his legend and functioned as a guardian of the Greek underworld) or an Inugami (a Canine Yokai, which depending on the version of the legend can be used as a guard dog, it can be like a benign kitsune but independent of its master's wishes or can even be used for revenge against the master's enemies) Although in my opinion, or it could be the second or a combination of both, I say Nintendo really likes to reflect Japanese culture in its games 🐶👻

As much pain as this dog caused us in Dark moon I know we can all agree that we love the Polterpup now. The dog was honestly a great addition to the series whoever thought of the idea over at Nintendo definitely better of got a raise.
@@misterfister5810 I was expecting Polterkitty to be a new friend of Luigi but I guess it ended up being sucked up,Unless it escaped the chamber at the end of the game and we didnt see it.
Love how the polterpup is comepletely neutral. Not really having any evil alliance with king boo, but still quite an annoyance towards Luigi. At least in Dark Moon.
I think king boo destroying the dark moon only made the polterpup hyper This also might explain why the polterpup sometimes loves trolling Luigi in the 3rd version since they were out of range from the dark moon
Expectations: alright I need to read 5 books for my long a$$ report for those books Reality: *doesn’t even read one page of the book and fails the assignment*
I don't know, having a dog that can spontaneously appear out of nowhere would scare me. I would love the dog but I would be scared of the sudden jumpscares.
@@sergioruizmoreno5247 I think you would get used to it after a while. Sometimes it feels like my cat comes out of nowhere by hopping on my bed at night because I'm visually impaired to the point that glasses don't work.
8:28 I understand why Luigi can't swim in this game series. Because the poltergust must be pretty heavy. I mean Luigi swims perfectly in other Mario games just not Luigi's mansion
Wondering the same thing. I'm thinking something like a Cerberus, perhaps? Or a giant wolf? 🐺 Like his original form is so wholesome but his transformation is so vicious. But he loves Luigi so he should be fine. 💚💚💚
lol I bet he’d accidentally turn into this monstrous, Cujo lookin’ dog, but wouldn’t drop his playful attitude and probably wouldn’t even notice his own hell-beast appearance.
@@thelastsaiyan6287 Don't you diss the man who deserves a place on the roster. And yes, while he is a joke character, he's made it into the hearts of millions.
9:20 usually Polterpup is immune to being attacked by the enemy ghost... he runs into the front line so many times but this time if you dont smack the punching bag quickly the cat will take a large transform beast mode swipe at polterpup, causing him to retreat and cower in a corner... And thats when i exploited the cats bad ai with gooigi....
If he had his eyes back he wouldn't fit in with other ghosts, he would be just a weird looking dog, the lack of visible eyes AND transparency make it just noticeable that its obvious that hes a ghost like all the others
I always look forward to see polterpup when I first played Luigi's mansion 3. He has saved Luigi countless times. It makes me want to see him in more games whenever Luigi is mentioned🥰
