Its sad that they made a 3d perfect model for him in Its About Time, and they used just to hope around "Off Beat", He was supposed to be a boss in "Run It Bayou", they made 2d concept art, music and everything :c
dang that dude is good at the boss fight, first time i did it it took me 10 minutes almost. the Nsane trilogy was my first time playing it and the last level before fighting cortex made me so mad it almost made me sick after i beat it. i think it was desert storms.
Grrr ripper roo.. That slobbering kangaroo with a dog like air was so hard to beat when I played the first game as a kid.. I do like the character though.
So the original crash 2 was the first PS1 game I owned, so when I played Crash 1 at my friends I was so shocked to see Ripper Roo when we got to the first boss XD

Não sei vocês, mas sempre suspeitei, após o Crash 2, que o Ripper Roo tem dupla personalidade, sendo o "Dr. Roo" o alter dele. Afinal, como explicar aquele final do N. Brio no Crash 4? Durante o game, qd vemos ele pulando, ele tá visivelmente na forma maluca dele.
seeing the N-Sane trilogy now, I notice the lack of attention to detail. The animations on Ripper Roo are somehow less impactful and more gooey, and then he isn't angry at Crash for disturbing his reading in Crash 2. The game just came at the opportune time, I guess.
It's like Ripper-Roo went from a bipolar Blue Kangeroo on a Pogo-Stick, to a clinically insane Kangeroo that is slowly suffering from dementia, to a blue version of Usain Bolt...

Interesting fact on the European and Australian versions of crash bandicoot 1996 Ripper Roo jumps noticeably slower. I know this because I have the Australian version. Did not make it any less difficult to beat him however
