The names for the armors from X1 to X3 are incorrect. According to Megaman X DiVE, as well as the wiki, the names for the armors are: First Armor Second Armor Third Armor Golden Third Armor

Dr Light: Yes, I wil create all these armor upgrades for X and not install them on him now. Oh, and I'll design them to only work after X completes an adventure then they'll become worthless. But, I'll create the same damn armor and have it do the same thing Except it will be in a hidden location he can't find until he needs them exactly when the next adventure begins. Now let's see, he will probably on have 8 adventures. But just in case there's a 9th I'll make sure it's behind a paywall.

ASolitaryHuman I used to think the X3 charge shot upgrade was best, but as I got older, I realized it is a pain when you fight Sigma and now I almost wish I could avoid it. X2 shot is really good, but it’s hard to compete against X4’s shot IMO

The Plasma Shot (as everyone who's played or watched X4 knows) absolutely destroys normal enemies and mini-bosses. But the Stock Shot is better for the Mavericks, as you can keep pelting them with fully charged shots as soon as they become vulnerable again after the previous one. I personally like using the Plasma Shot for most of the game, then changing to the Stock shot for the final level.

Did you know, when use blade armor. When u release charged shoot with pressing up, its not shoot x buster but slash with charged X saber instead. With crossing slash on the front of X

@@Bahumet22 when you use the blade armor in x6, you can charge the saber instead of your x buster. By pressing up and attack while your buster is charged, you can unleash this powerful attack!

I feel it also helps it might be the armor with the most intricate upgrade system as well, at least in comparison to the rest of the series: Each part has a separate upgrade you can get for it, but you either choose ONE upgrade and that's that, or you are patient enough to skip the singular upgrades and get ALL of them later down the line.

Probably the "perfect" armor would be the head and chest parts of the ultimate armor, the arm parts from X2 and the leg parts from X3.

I like to think that in the first 4 games light actually made the armors in 1-4 and after the ultimate armor he designed his a.i. to generate and create armor that are specifically made for a certain situation
