✅ Some facts I have no pics or vids of At 7 he broke his arm really bad , with elbow joint dislocation ( doctors said he will never be able to perform in sport with it ... due to nerv damage and improper joint fusion after the surgery ) At 13 he totally quit athletics due to knee injury He had a dream to become Olympic champion in track and field ... he was kinda lost and out of any sports activity or 2 years At 15 he got back to gym with me and totally switched to armwrestling and the more he started winning the more he loved this sport He is now able to travel around the world because of it and compete among the best ... so the moral of the whole fable NEVER Give up Never stop dream BIG Test yourself You might be gifted in something else P.S. wish I filmed more HQ content back in the day lol

I really like that, early in the vid, when he's in the US, Schoolboy seems so confused when opponents go for a handshake after the match. Then, back in Russia, he starts giving handshakes after the matches, and sometimes THEY seem confused. Sportsmanship! Schoolboy, you're a goddamn legend. Great video. I started watching arm wrestling during COVID and the first one I ever saw was of schoolboy. I got hooked. Tons of respect for his older brother in all these too. Also I love the matches where schoolboy already has his offhand up for a respectful handshake before the opponent even realizes he’s lost!

Alex is just one of those special people who are just naturally strong. All those others on 'Roids trying to make themselves huge due to there own shortcomings. I just love how humble he is. Big fan

I like how his confidence and charisma built over time. At first you can see he's quite shy and feels awkward at times, rarely shaking hands after a match, avoiding eye contact, quickly disappearing after he's done. But later he starts smiling more, shakes hands, and doesn't immediately leave the table.

What's amazing is you can see how much mass he's built over the years of training. He turned from a regular skinny boy, to one of the most iconic armwrestlers.

SCHOOLBOY will be his nickname forever...

Im 37 years old an I've been following this kid for awhile and honestly it's such an inspiration. Watching him makes me want to get back in the gym and realize that I can get back to my healthy weight and feel good about myself again. I wish I could meet him and shake his hand an say "thanks for everything " thanks for the motivation Alex.
