No joke, Sonic himself actually _does_ have serious *Boss* potential. Sonic is one of the strongest characters in the series, he just holds back the full extent of his abilities. Can run at the speed of sound, has lightning-fast reflexes, can survive hits/falls that would kill lesser individuals, has quills that are strong enough to tear through metal sheets... He would make for a fantastic semi-final boss, even without going super. Provided the concept is written/executed properly, Sonic could totally be a legitimate boss.
It would've been cool of you could choose different stories between Classic and Modern Sonic in Generations. Then have the two Sonic's battle each other.
I genuinely love how the sonic fight in SA2 feels like sonic is better at chaos control than shadow is, i mean hes abusing chaos control with a fake emerald, I feel like this just shows while sonic can do anything shadow can with a chaos emerald, he just chooses not too cause he doesn't need to.
Sonic is not a bad guy, but he sometimes fights the player because the player has to fight him. Sad that you have to fight against the main protagonist of the franchise because the character that the player is playing either doesn’t like or is confused.
