The nostalgia and memories that the Escudo brings in GT2 are priceless to me... I was born the same year the game was released and grew up idolizing my dad driving, until i became old enough to start driving and it remains my favorite car and game after all these years
It definitely was the best car in GT2 by a landslide, but I’d have to say, in terms of Top speed, the GT3 variant could easily smoke it like a joint. The GT three variant struggled in other fields, but that thing was a fast car
Ese sonido que agrega gran turismo 4, después de llegar a cierta velocidad, cómo de resistencia del viento y a su vez roce del pavimento a mí parecer le da otro nivel , saludos
Great video , interesting choice to put it on the track for your demonstrations though. That car was absolutely insane on rally courses (I guess it was number one in every game it has been in, but 2 and the insane car list in that game actually did include more than one pikes peak car if I remember right). Does 7 even have rally courses in it for that matter did 6 have them too?
Yep, every game since GT2 had rally tracks, although the recent games don't have a lot of them. GT 5 and 6 have Toscana, Chamonix and Eiger Nordwand. GT Sport and 7 have Colorado Springs, Sardegna Windmills and Fisherman's Ranch. I might have a go at Fisherman with the Escudo later today.
@@MsSirAndy No, I don't see any reason to expect that at all. I don't think rally tracks are a big focus for them and they have never brought back a rally track after it was gone.
I fire up GT2 and GT4 every christmas (I have all GT's and still have all the consoles). This new years morning in GT4 from seeing the Home garage to seeing an escude parked in it.... 3hr 36minutes on "day 84" which I could get down to day 78 If I didn't do the coffee break tests and if I didn't get silver licence results. -start game -get all 4 licences. -Get honda dualnote (NATIONAL A licence, silver reward car).... OR nismo 270r [silvia not a gtr] INTERNATIONAL A licence reward car. -enter and win the special conditions capri rally easy-you win toyota rsc rally raid car (sells for 250,000). clear progress and do the last capri rally easy again for another £5000 so you can afford the 23,000 required for dirt tyres. -enter and win both cathedral rocks races (I did the second one first as I find it more difficult). Getting licences alone took me 2 hours 32 minutes (I'm not really into speed running, I only did it because my mate who was also playing it was so happy he finally got the escudo and I got curios. So from that point to getting escudo actually only took 1hour 4 minutes, only 6 races and I didn't even buy a "first car" yet!) I think a better run without distractions or being hungry and cooking food I could have done it in 3hr 15 minutes and 78 game days. Doing better in the licences gets you a silver or gold reward car and every time you get a reward car it also adds +1 days, so doing better actually "takes longer" in game time. Similar thing with GT2 -Licences -Buy a reasonably quick car like an evo or impreza. -Win tahiti road 80's, use skyline reward car to win Red Roick valley speedway 4 times. -Buy escudo. GT1 was the OG GT2 is second best GT3 was a demo GT4 is *the* best GT5-GTsport progressively go downhill. GT7 actually feels like an insult. Edit: I launch GT7 like every 1-2months, grind a little cash, buy whatever unique car (last was escudo) then shut it down till next time. rip PD.
Watching this reminds me of the Homer Simpson meme of his younger self and present day watching the tv that’s like everyone who’s played this game and still is the car is secretly the hero for all the GT games and I have it in every garage even in the PSP
