History of the Milan Metro/Subway network, from its opening in 1964, to the opening of the Cinisello Monza extension in 2024, under the operation of the Società Italiana Trasporto con Automobili (Italian Society of Transport and Automobiles), the Azienda Trasporti Municipali (Municipal Transport Company), and the Azienda Trasporti Milanesi (Milan Transport Company).
