Here’s what it’s like today the 96 and 95 b lines were turned into the r5 and r1 rapid buses and got a new green colour instead of the orange and soon in about 3 years the millennium line will be extended to arbutus as part of a long term project to expand the millennium line to ubc to replace the 99 b line and soon a gondola will be installed to connect production way university and sfu there is also a fan made map showing what people think what the skytrain will look like in the future This has been a transit enthusiast fact from coast mountain man

Wouldn't the Canada line cross Granville station? There's an unofficial link through Pacific Centre and Vancouver Centre.

Yes proper signs should be posted and better pedestrian connections between the No. 1 HUB in Vancouver.

Interesting! I love watching Evolution Videos as I'm interested to see how much a person or something progresses. And, what's after this?

Why don't the Millennium Line be extended to link with the Canada Line from VCC-Clark?
@assorted9976
@assorted9976 4 года назад
if im not mistaken, an extension under broadway is actually underway, terminating at arbutus and including several intermediate stations including an interchange at broadway-city hall

Why some B-Lines were discontinued?
@piclor2586
@piclor2586 4 года назад
Colin Chin The skytrain replace them I think. This will happen to the 99 b line soon for the UBC-Arbutus extension. 95 b line might be replaced by a new line in the near future (30 years?). 96 may get removed for the future king George to Langley extension after the ubc arbutus extension

A main reason is for bus driver losing jobs and not many people going on the buses
@MetroElfren

Canada Line replaced the 98 B-Line while the Millennium Line extension into Coquitlam replaced the 97 B-Line.

Buses carry almost 65% of all riders. TransLink keep making mistakes and many new bus routes are needed together with super express buses similar to route 222.

Many bus routes were cutback because of lack of funds especially in the last 10 years, and more now because of COVID

Why’d they have the expo and millennium line going to the same places
@EditorVJAS
@EditorVJAS Год назад
When the original plans for the Millennium Line were put in place it was to be a separate line running a similar course to the current line. It would have had it's own operations yard and had no need to connect to the "Expo line". However due to cost & the political climate at that time the course was changed to what was built. At the time the naming worked, and it made sense when going away from Waterfront, as anyone heading to Surrey knew they needed an Expo train, and any of the other stations past Columbia to be on a Millennium train. Anyone getting off before Columbia could use any train so they could just grab whichever came first.

Keep in mind, this video was taken 1 year ago. Obviously, RapidBus wasn't around that time. (Commented by Abdelnoor)
