Notice: The original video was pretty lengthy and needed cleaned up a bit in editing. I was going to just remove it from my content, however they still sell this saw today and it may be helpful for someone looking to buy it. I have since given this saw to my Dad and he uses it in his shop and really likes it. I'm still using an evolution chop saw, just a different model.
What model are you using now. I have a channel of farming and will be building a32 foot sliding gate door. I have a chop saw but cuts and flexes. Which Evo do you recommend. I will be building cattle corals and will be cutting well pipe ETC. Thank you
S380CPS is what I've been using. It's worth taking a look at! It's one of the most used tools in my shop! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-xMc0oHx4Pgk.html
I noticed as you stated that you were able to handle the cut pieces without burning your finger and on top of that there were no visible scorch marks around the nails after you cut through the wood: amazing!
NO.. These blades are made to operate at low RPM (below 2000) and regular saws operate at high RPM (4000+). Metak cutting blades will become dangerous at high speed.

I'm not sure what it cost when I posted the video, but the link in the description brings up a price of $375. The saw has been improved and the newer version can be found in the pinned comment.
Sure, if that works for you! The cuts with these blades are cold and the aluminum never melts and sticks to the teeth, so for me, it just doesn't matter. The blades do exceptionally clean cuts on aluminum and steel. I see no reason to swap blades, but that is just my experience for what I use the saw for. Obviously your experience may vary and you will want to follow the manufacturers recommendations, unlike me. ;)
Relax, it's an opinion! I have it, and yes I paid for it, I could Have bought it a year ago for $100 less... highly doubt Evolution is paying 33% more for their product. It's a chopsaw that spins slower and uses a metal cutting blade.....
