I love how it evolved from a robotic floating hologram into something that actually looks like it is reacting properly to physics. I love how multiple characters can now be on stage and each will look to be responding independently of each other rather than looking like they all are running the same script.

That technology for 2009 is amazing tho.

The second 2018 one... So fucking sad. I'm tearing up rn. You can here all the fans singing "Mou Ikai".. "One More Time"... It's even sadder now that Wowaka has passed on.

Tbh 2010 was pretty impressive, like 2009 was ok. But like 2010 was a giant upgrade

The 2010 concert I feel was the best. Her style, the songs, the animation. It was not as high of quality in resolution, but something about the setup and her movement was very appealing.

I mean, she changed SO much in just 8 years... From just a moving pic on glass, Miku became a walking- talking hologram. In 2018, the second one, she's actually become more human and is interacting with the fans

I think 2018 looks fine, though yeah, it's a little bit lacking. I have to give them credit for at least trying out new things to improve their concerts. It's really cool how they can have Miku interact with the audience more and create better a atmosphere, and I'm sure that they'll improve as it goes along. I'm not so fond of all these "devolving" comments, because how can you improve something without trying to make improvements? So yeah, model isn't as good but I'm sure they'll work on that. Give Crypton a little bit of leeway.

2010 was my favorite, she looks a bit more realistic yet fake, I think it was the way her hair was moving and detailed. Like it gave this realistic hair flow a bit. Then again 2018 has a small bit of a realistic feel too. Sorry if this bugs anyone but it’s so satisfying to watch her hair flow...

I didn't realize how much I missed vocaloid

Gosh... Vocaloid has evolved so much. I was so young when this started and all of the older songs still hold something dear and nostalgic to me. Man. Time flies.

2017's concert was ICONIC because finally more Vocaloids other than Miku, Len and Rin were on stage and performing.

I still prefer the 2013-2017 models. Vocaloid doesn't have to look realistic. These models look anime style while still moving very smoothly and beautiful textures.

My opinion for 2018: I like that she interacts with the crowd more. But she just looks way too realistic.( it's not the signature cute, look of miku) I prefer the way she looks in some of the older models and the games( future tone, x, etc.) My favorite live models( my opinion) : 2010, 2013, 2014, 2016 and 2017(examples-sand planet, whimsical mercy: magical mirai 2017). I dont mind the first model shown from 2018, where shes wearing her snow miku 2018 outfit. Just not a fan of the second 2018 model.

I really like the model for 2018. I do see how people can think it's bad because it's a change in model, but at that time the movements were being rendered and projected live. That would probably take a TON of time to render all the movements and shadows for a higher poly model like the ones from Arcade. The live animation looks nice and fluid to me actually, and I love the audience interaction. It's not bad for a test! I cannot wait to see how it'll improve!

Can ppl start appreciate what Crypton do? The new model model have it own speciality that no other models have. The model is by Crypton and not from Sega or any other collab. So please give them some support. And for the speciality... this model actually synchronizes live rendered motion with vocal and allow an interaction with the audience. And this model is still on a test and not finished yet

Im a big fan of hair detail. so 2018 was the best at this part . just the way that the hair moves, oh gosh, love it! but agree that the faces were better before. also, the realistic clothes I like a lot too, I like fluid movement, so... yeah.

I personally think 2014 was the best because of how smooth the movements are. They look so realistic, without making her too realistic. She looks like she is really standing there, but doesn't have a creepy nose like 2018

For all those wondering why she looks more realistic in 2018, stay with me for a sec. I have reason to believe that the vocaloid industry is trying to change the design to be more realistic in order to compete with the new upcoming contender in China. For the sake of me not being able to spell even if my life depended on it, we'll call them Chinaloids for now. See China has taken to the holographic artist scene & have made quite a bit of advancements with the holograms to a point where they look really realistic from afar. Especially when it comes to movement. Even up close, the Chinaloids flow of movement look way more natural than the current fan favorite Vocaloids. So, in order to keep up with Chinaloids, they've nixed some of the cartoony anime elements while trying to make the movements way more natural due to it being quite difficult to find that perfect harmony between the two elements.

No matter what the year is 2015 or 2050 Beloved Miku will forever remain in the Hearts of Loyal Fans and Fans of Miku😍🙏🤗😭😍😍😍
