Today this piece was inspired by Rinske Douna and Novi Lim - using the brush to create pieces of botanical inspired art. I wanted to test out my brush strokes, and the tones I was using and very much let myself be in the present moment of creating and feeling a piece.

Today's Tutorial Information:
▶ Technique: Brush Work
▶ Pouring Medium formula: My paints are mixed with a pouring medium and water. I use good quality paints that have a good binder. My pouring medium is Owatrol Floetrol. I use a ration of 1:3:1 - paint: pouring medium: water. You may have to adjust your ratios depending on the paint brands you use.
▶ Color Palette:
Amsterdam - Titanium White, Lamp Black, Azo Orange, Venetian Rose, Nickel Titanium Yellow.
Winsor & Newton: Cadmium Red Hue
▶ Hair dryer: When I use a hair dryer I use the Remington D3010 and always use the cool setting and the lowest blow speed.
