I lost all my motivation and respect for Evony when the k40 update dropped as I had just reached k35 and thought I was through spending! I was the top monarch on S403 and now people are spending with double coupons and I am number 4 but far behind at k36 while others are k38. I was far ahead of everyone in research and now they have higher level military research and passed me way up. Not to mention that they bought all the special castles and civilization gear and I used to have the top 5 generals but now have many far stronger above me. It’s just an absolute joke and I can’t believe how many people I see that are spending thousands upon thousands and encouraging Evony to continue. Eventually the only people playing will be all of the big spenders and those who are competitive will be the biggest spenders. It is already pretty much there! I don’t think it will be that long before Evony starts a slow decline and finds themselves wondering why they destroyed the game when they could have had steady income for many years. I am only sticking around to see what happens and only doing what I want when I want. I used to run rallies for the alliance 20 hours a day but now only the bots are here that much and I let the big spenders use their high dollar generals while I join with Baibars. 😂 RIP Evony!!! 🤦♂️ 🤷🏻♂️
There is nothing wrong with pay to win but pay to advance in the game now that's another story there shouldn't be general strength cap on buildings to be able to upgrade city. The only way to get gens that high are to spend and to get 50 bill rss without taking 6 months with a bot. The day k40 came out I hit k35 and was ready to start training troops then boom all this shit.
It is absolutely hilarious I think. Have you ever got an in game email from developers, talking about the "Fair game policy " when someone mentions buying an account from another player, or offering to sell another player something in game for a cash exchange? What is fair about what they are doing? I honestly believe that there are some spenders who should have bragging rights for their all star keeps and the advantage that some can have over others...but there's nothing fair about a game that says "okay you gave us much more money then the other players did, so that makes you the best pro gamer here, that is not competition, it's just extortion!!!!
Hey @Genghis, so what are your thoughts? Are T15 worth it? From a battle and strategic standpoint, is having T15 a complete game changer? Trying to decide rather to spend all the resources for try and train T15 or if I should spend the resources increasing power.
For a change, I completely agree with you. It borders to insanity. Even if you could chase witches nians ymir all week it would take you years to get there. I didn't know the cost were this ridiculous but I already knew t15 is not my goal. Just get my tech up as much as I can and enjoy the things that work for me. I mean except for those elite players with piles of cash there are way more players that face same issue as you and me. Let's focus on that as evony clearly cut off the path to t15 for most players. Yeah, I will unlock 1 or 2..but after that...if I want to unlock all 4 we are talking about zero power growth for a year, while others can gain 7-8b in that time...and how long would it take me to make back that power loss vs them in t15 strength
Ayyyy I used to play coc too! Yeah, I remember them reducing research, defense and wall costs. I don’t play coc as much, but I’m no longer rushing to max everything now. Im just waiting for new townhall levels and the cost reductions😂
I got 2 x 99 for tactics..which is 25k gems each...so thats 50,000 gems..I am currently at 54500 gems...so yes I got the monster pack 1000 more..and then a couple other small daily pakcs...total 225USD? my 139, it shows is canadian.
So your telling me you dont spend more than 6 dollars a day? It's like when a body builder says there not taking steroids. I just dont want the average person seeing this thinking they can have 5 bill power and k39 within a few years if they spend 200 a month it just wont happen. K40 hasnt been out 1 year yet and your k39 that doesnt happen with 200 a month that takes multiple farm accounts, use of a bot linked to farm accounts your main account and money, just look at the witches boxes you wont get that many in 2.5 days without a bot along with hydras and Cerberus and vikings, doing the math puts you around 2.4 days of continuous play time sense Monday not possible. I know you cant say you use a bot and or you only have "family accounts" and not farms because of the risk of being banned but let's not pretend this all off of 200 a month.
I’m aiming for k37 … it’s becoming unsustainable for a player like me who spends around £100 pm I’m aiming k37 and MA2 and then load power .. I’ll be a k37 with 10b power 🤣🤣 it’s getting to the point of considering giving up altogether

I'm not building more troops and I've stopped playing pvp outside of battlefield... So that I can get to k40 for the military academy. I likely won't do t15s either.
It's utterly ridiculous. I've already decided I'm getting to k35 and then no more. If they release k45 I'll probably quit. It's already getting hard to play SvS with k38s everywhere.
I already accepted the fact that I won't get those troops when I realize this is a coiners game since I don't want and never plan to coin.. I only manage to get my Theo coz of Googleplay points.. 😂😂 clash of clash is a more play to win game than evony.. I manage to get th14 without spending anything just pure grinding.. it's almost a year since I open that acct.. 😂😂

I have all T15s except cavalry. i bought 800 billion resources from a bot alliance. way cheaper and faster than buying packs. i would rather make some player rich than evony. T15s are strong!!

barracks and stables are the easy ones as they have almost no pre-requisite buildings this time. archer camp and workshop however... oooouch to get the workshop from 35 to 40 will cost you 176.5b food, 224b lumber, 230b stone, 224b ore due to also requireing market, embassy and warhall to get the archer camp from 35 to 40 will cost you 144.5b food, 180.7b lumber, 190.8b stone, 188.8b ore due to archer tower and walls also required so when you said 'most of you will never get a t15 troop' you really are not exaggerating. I think the only reason a lot more people haven't quit yet, is because they don't believe us when we tell them what it costs, or they simply haven't been told what it actually costs

I refuse to play this out of principle. The original evony that was on pc was the best of this type of game. Then they took the 1st step to ruining it with evony 2. Then they released this cash grab version
