Evony- Developer call recap (Feb 21,2023) 

I agree with the other comment - the troop training issue is NOT a “training too fast” or “problem with home WiFi”….it’s an Evony issue and really annoying

Someone should bring up having SVS score equalize at the end for net positive. We’ve had players with a billion plus but 2 billion negative. They already track the negatives. Your final score should be positive only.

Allowing the option to move servers is a beyond an excellent idea. I truly hope they give this option.

They really need to change when in battlefield and you go into your keep to do a quick heal, or change wall defense, your screen gets pulled down to the bottom and you also have to deal with an ad to purchase something, wasting valuable seconds (also annoying)

1 min rally? Some low players marches take 3 mins especially if they on the outer edge of the hive

Wi-Fi troop training is a massive issue. I have one gig Internet and it doesn’t matter how slow I go. I train one group every time I try to do it again I got a red disconnect have to restart every time it takes me almost 2 minutes to do 50,000 troops. yeah and let’s give 40 billion players the ability to go to join C-4 C-5 that’s brilliant! NOT!!!

I wouldn't be remotely surprised if they don't act upon any of the suggestions apart from nerfing t1s, and introducing a new building (in-city lube dispenser? Makes the 40m+ rallies feel a little less painful as its rams right through your layers).

Imagine if there's a battlefield like boc/bog where you can fight against your own alliance members , that would be good for testing buff and improving PvP skills.

Its hilarious how childish heavy spenders are, gonna complain they cant one tap smaller keeps anymore with one ground march, ground should be nerfed to the ground with em if thats the case cause its bonkers you can solo a 3b keep in one ground march even if they’re loaded with cavs. I use to get one tapped at k37 all the time by 2000%+ ground until my T1 flats, do a rally and stop complaining you cant solo people anymore, its a game for alliances not a solo mission

Server port won't happen guys, their whole economy is based on making new servers, why would they change that for your benefit? Imagine someone buying an acc for 1/10 and moving it to the lastest server lol. The real issues is lag, they need to invest in their servers.

I still think the ability to heal without going into keep should be a thing both in battlefields and svs

I can't see them allowing server changes since the run different promotions...I would jump to servers offering debuff books, get what I need and go back to my server...

200 per continent every season is pretty reasonable in a game with many many 10s of thousands of players. Let's talk about BoG wings and how impossible they are?

wall gen preset needs to happened already. also different modes for the march presets to switch between pvp and pvm is long overdue. they already have something like this for blazons and monarch gears, so why not let us have modes for march presets? I am so sick of having to make pvp layers before battlefield.

I don't feel like building a t1 defense is a "trap" or outside of normal game play. People can scout and see them there and choose to solo or rally. Nerf it and I will just bubble every SvS and stop spending completely. No point in playing svs or battlefields if I know a hit from a whale will wipe me out in one shot. No strategy, not fun. Just pay to win garbage.

One thing they can do for the server teleport is only allow it to be continent based, so you can only teleport to another server within your continent. I think it would be pretty cool to see someone like Philip join Rsp

I like the idea of being able to move upwards to another server but never downwards. Friends in different servers can join up, people can flee tyrannical servers and K40s won't be able to bumrush brand new servers that don't even have a king yet.

The problem of renaming an account, you aren't aware of changes anymore. We had an account swap in our ally. Player A became player B and vice versa. And they took their name with them. I was always talking and referring to the wrong player, until they ask me why and I investigated the issue. I would like it, to add a custom name and put it in brakets behind the current name: current name (custom name) So I can keep track of who's who, but know and use the current one to speak with people.

The risk/reward for SvS seems to be out of balance. Surprised this did not come up. Needs to be more stuff to do to get people out of the bubbles. Especially mid-sized keeps.

I they are going to limit T1 troop numbers they should limit all troop numbers. the whales will love loosing power to have a cap on troop numbers. It might fix lag in Battlefields

Regarding the 1 min rally - why not add that function to the rally screen when starting? It costs 1,000 gems to set a 1 minute rally rather than having to go into the rally and spend 1,000 to send early

I’m glad they mentioned the glitch for all stars because I should have been qualified with the amount of points I had, customer service did not help me out and was claiming it had to do with Alliance performance but a Alliance member that had less points than me qualified so yea 🤷‍♂️

troop training...after u press train...u get in speedup screen 2 choices than...right one :use speedups u complete that training but at next u get red wifi 100% and cant train anymore unless u exit barracks and reselect train....left choice : finish all , u can retrain right after non stop , no red wifi appear in this case

evony should like "controlled" war. getting zeroed outside of svs => high chance of quit. getting zeroed once or twice during svs with SOL => keep playing => more opportunities to spend $$$

Would it be better to allow players to reinforce without it taking up a march slot. Alot of players wont reinforce as it slows their growth especially when limiting joining rallies due to march slots.

Any ideas about burning Godzilla spiritual beast should be since he got in city boost is assistant wall general or archer tower general ??

Need bookmarks in the rally spot. So I can setup presets for bosses and pvp.

These calls are mostly garbage. Part of the problem is they keep bringing these (for the most part) monster coiners. And I get that is who they cater too. But they have a different set of issues than the rest of players. They need to do multiple calls. One with big coiners. One with moderate and one with free to rarely spend. Then with specific 1:1 players. Also imo the first thing that needs to happen is not give any responses to anything and focus 100% on functionality. It’s unacceptable for the pinnacle of the events to operate so poorly. Lag. Marches getting stuck etc etc. and if they all dialed in and just said we won’t discuss anything except proper function. And that includes recoding players scores. Wifi signal. Marches sticking. Crashes. Etc etc. Also the ppl attending mostly seem to go in with “we want and need all of this… give it to us”. Very rarely does anyone offer up the mutual benefit needed for Evony to truly consider. There was some decent suggestions made. The composing of March size buffs. Some of the preset suggestions. Etc. But the majority of it seems to be requesters for personal hurdles in the game.

i think r5 or r4 should be able to move alliance member castle in the alliance square ! and move server is a very good idea ;)

Their customer service is terrible and it seems that they don’t even know the game they are supporting, it’s common knowledge but that would be a great thing for them to fix.

Battle simulators is a good thing, actually this is the one feature I wish this game has. Hero wars have this feature.

I hope they release uhtred of bebbanburg since he was a reap person and was a great warrior and would make a decent general in evony

I think the suggestion was bubble or burn server bubble on tiles also why no one of them said anything about the new spiritual beast !!! We don't need it as wall general beast

Suggestion on how to improve the game. Monsters are important and maybe it's rewards. I don't understand why we have ceberus and king G that both give speed ups. Maybe each monster only give one type of resources or speed ups. Create new Monsters that require higher power to defeat. Currently one player starts the battle and others just join to share the rewards. How about join to help defeat the monsters. Still keep monsters so that one player can defeat without wounded but many steps level higher that require those who join to make the difference to defeat the monster. Maybe still keep the current type if monsters but higher levels but new monsters would be nicer. Gane is history based. Maybe new monsters could be mythology based, biblical, etc. Move server, problem is if big players move to new servers to wipe out small players.

Yeah, I’m in a small alliance how biggest guy is about 850 K I guess I’ll never get another dragon. I wanted to get blue, but I’m not big enough to fight in SVS. And I am one of those low coiners

For T1 traps, maybe Evony will turn T1 from flat refines to percentages.

Server teleport would be awesome, I think $1000 would be too high😂. Another thing I wish they’d fix is the difficulty getting your account linked or unlinked. Ok IOS for example this is a disaster if you accidentally link the lvl 1 account before switch to your main account (for example on a new device). Genghis maybe you can help me offline with this . Swapping or composing the gear fragments would be great. I’m never gonna make some of the pieces I have 15-20 fragments for.

I would pay $500 dollars for each of my players to go to a full NAP server without tyrannical dictators. Make it so you can only port to a new server on non SvS weeks.

I think the new building is for changing the base building of the keep.Its old not nice they should change it making it free 😅tho I doubt it because dev as bs

Heck, because my alliance has one real big player, (12B player with 2 others over 6B power) and we almost never get paired with C5, C4, or C3 in battlefield, so we lose most of the time because there is players with better tech, more k40s with t15s, or have 5+ players over 7B going against us, but we get 57k points in last BoC, but it isn't showing in the standings for the leaderboard for C5 to see where we will might qualify for Chalons. Our win rate was 35% after week one of BoC. Two BoCs ago we won with 117501 point, last one was 56908, but we don't show on the board. If it only is counting last week, it isn't counting losses then as we would be tenth in super league ranking for c5

Holy damn that wonder 3 personal ranking hits home got 30k points in round 1 and don't even show on the rankings so have 0 idea where I am on c2 😂

The red wifi icon is a problem on their end, i got 1gig internet and an iphone 13 which never has issues till i hop on evony any other game works perfectly fine. They should worry about fixing the horrendous lag in battlefield my entire alliance complains about along with every other server insted of making more packages to focus on sucking more money out of people. They have 0 respect for their players or their game, everything is a reach around into our wallets

How funny, when the "participation trophy" comment was made it gave me diarrhea. Everything they bitched about from what they wanted sounds like a "participation trophy!" I've been doing this for over 6 yrs and I've yet to get my Wonder 1. I wouldn't call this "fair game play" for us smaller players. It's a joke

They have no idea how to run these calls or solicit feedback. The free for all approach to these calls is insane and yields utter pointlessness. They should solicit a maximum of 2-3 questions from each person they select... and have them all in advance. Elena should discuss with internal people BEFORE the call. She can then ask the individual people to state their question for the full call and answer it with an ANSWER she already has. I have no idea why they feel this is a productive method of discussing anything. As for a simulator, Evony is again clueless. Give people a simulator and they will spend hours just whacking one another for fun. This would encourage coining. So foolish.

Moving servers ...not a really good idea ...you've said that you would spend let's say 500dollars to move servers ...most players on evony have alts so would you pay for your alts too or would you just let all that work and effort go down the drain ?? Plus the chaos would be too much ... wouldn't want that on my server ....

Some of those questions are so cringe. The troop limit/t1 narrative from Elena was hilarious.
