Thank you for the comments! 1) It depends on what you are trying to do, but of the ones you listed... I would prefer Martinus, Minamoto, Joseph Johnston..some other notable mentions: Gwangaeto, Scipio 2) Yue Fei - Not suitable for a wall general (you wouldn't want to defend with your cavalry). Attacking generals are better when they are more focused on a single troop. For example, Trajan is a better version ground of Yue Fei. Martinus is a better cavalry version of Yue Fei. Kusunoki Masashige - Not great. He's like a weaker version of Joseph E. Johnston. Defending with cavalry is a really, really bad idea so ignore that stat completely. 35% ranged attack on KM vs 20% ranged + 20% siege on JEJ
Thank you for all the game suggestions. I have been having good luck with Tachibana Muneshige for resource gathering. Not sure where I received this general, but he provides an extra 15% resource gathering from spots on the world map (innate skill). My keep is only at level 20, still a new player.
Question - I'm new to game and I obviously won't be getting Jindeok YET. However, Isn't General Attila prob better? I just got him and his passive is "Whip of Gods: Increases Troop Load by 75% when General is Leading Army".... Keep in mind I'm new. but that sounds pretty good right? Can't find much info on this general online though...
I’m my opinion he’s good for sending to relics and/or alliance mine but if you can get Constance (+20% resources & +20% troops load) she’s superior for resource tiles. Troop load isn’t as important where you have a finite amount of resources to collect unless you don’t have enough troops available to completely clear the tile. You’re better off focussing on extra resource (1st) and gathering speed (2nd). There is also Shimazo Yoshihiro who gives you 30% extra on food only, and 10% gathering speed increase. They are purple generals so should be easier/cheaper to obtain. Edit: I just read in the comments below that Constance wasn’t available when Miser made this video.
The tavern generals cost so much gold! Like 30-60 million gold. Do you have any tips on how to get more gold? I have been trying to farm goblins but got 5 mil from like a whole day of searching and marching…
As always, thank you for another informative video! A qq, Minamoto also only has range attack buff, or single stat. Does that mean a range troop attack skill book won’t work?
Hey, me again ^^ I have an additional question. Do you think "The Officer" needs Gear or Skill book? I think the general should achieve the conditions of the officer... Is there a buff effect due to additional gears or skills?
I'm planning another video in a day or two to discuss subordinate city generals and what they need. If you are talking about duty officers instead, you only need to meet the requirements for that specific building. Specials are usually about 1300 or so of 2 stats and 3.3 million power.
Thanks for the great advice, I just subscribed. Two questions for you, for Queen Jindeok and Baibars, we should only try and recruit them with gems as from Keep29? In another video you posted, it was mentioned that you traded ports for stamina, can you give an indication what the ratio would be? I don't plan to do much pvp as advised until K30 at least so can trade my ports, what is very urgent is stamina for me. So I would like to trade it but need some indication of what the rates can be?
Not sure what the rate was. It was a long time ago. The rate also varies based on supply and demand. Maybe just ask for offers. Queen Jindeok and Baibars are super important. If you aren't short of gems, maybe try once at tavern 27/28. If they come up, grab them. However, you can also grab Cleopatras in place of the Baibars temporarily to make sure you have 5. Then at 30 you can try again for the last ones.
@@The_Miser if we use 5 marches to join rally that is at least 100 stamina at one go. I know you covered stamina in another video, I just wonder if it is normal to buy the 50 stamina regularly in order to join boss rally?

Hi, I recently got a Gustavus and Alfred the Great out of tavern, and im new to game, I was told the way to go for PVP is build a range general, and have about 60% range troops, 20% seige and 5% mounted and 5% ground. Not sure if thats effective. But i kinda want to get your insight as to which if this 2 generals should I build over the other. And what skill books do I need to add in for this generals? Would really appreciate getting your thoughts about it. Thanks
Hi Geovani, personally I'd recommend focusing on non pvp aspects of the game until you upper keep level or near the top on the server. PVP tends to be wasted resources and stunted growth until you reach end-game. Once you are near the top, I'd recommend focusing on archer, siege, or ground as a main troop. Ground tends to be the most gear-forgiving, so if you don't spend a lot, I'd recommended beefing up your ground stats and getting a decent and easily obtainable ground general like Trajan. As far as troop composition, there's no firm percentage. You train what you can. Having more of your main troop is great, but beefy layers are super important as well as a mix of troops. Archers and siege are great, but what most players fail to realize is that most players also have debuffs to counter those troops through sub city generals. Conversely, ground is the least affected of all troops because there's simply fewer options to debuff ground troops.

For ground troops i have level 1s to level 10s, was told to dismiss the lower levels as the higher troops are the ones useful. But i think in pvp they are useful meatshields? And I guess ill stop building Kosunoki and work on Joseph Johnston for wall then. More power and continue doing this videos Miser, you have been a great help and inspiration. About 30-50% of that comes from various events including the returns from the resource consumption, etc. Other significant sources of resources are in-city production, resource gathering, hitting other players, and bosses (especially event bosses like turtles, witches, golems). It takes about 2 months to accumulate the resources here (every resource consumption).
I'm fairly new at this I'm working on level 20 right now should I keep raising my levels and not worrying about all the other things. Because I have done a bunch of other stuff and I am part of a group but I'm not sure should I keep raising the level or letting it just run the time and collecting all the resources that go along with the time

Hi Manlai, My suggestion here depends on your setup as a kingdom. If you are following my "no-army" growth strategy, then I would suggest you focus on two primary resource types to max out building plots, and focus the other two as gathering. This makes it more possible to max out the research that has the most impact very quickly. Here's what I mean: There are 30 tiles total, but 1 is needed for army camp so let's say you have 29 possible. You might choose to focus on wood and stone for in-city production. For this, I might do 10 sawmill, 10 quarry, 6 mine, 4 farm. For research, I would focus on in-city: wood, quarry & gathering ore, food My Queen Jindeoks would have gear refinement focus of ore, food (though if other good ones come up I'd keep them) If you have an army or have pretty even technology for gathering/in-city etc, you might choose to have something like: 1 farm, 10 sawmill, 10 quarry, 8 mine If you are max level and need to focus more on troop train than buildings, you might instead have army camps rather than the additional resources to improve training speed. In this case, you would have more of a focus on gathering.
Thank you for the videos! I can not add a General Skill book to my Li Shimin when I try to add Lv3 March Size for example, it says that general already have a higher level. Or if I try to add Ranged troop arrach, the message says the new skill has a 0% chance to replace one of the existing skills. Even I try to add a Lv 3 Mounted troop Defense I get the 0% chance to replace the generals existing skills.. Why is that?
You can't add a book of the same type. If the book already exists as a higher level book or the skill is there as the general's skill, the game will not allow you to add it. The % chance to replace increases with the number of books currently active. I think this video is only good if you are at a higher level like this guy. When I saw the title of the video I thought I would get some special info about how to grow faster. It seemed like his tavern is upgraded to a much higher level. I don't think this info helps me. I am still trying to figure out a lot of things that I don't completely understand.
There are worse, but I wouldn't say he's great either. Cavalry and siege is a really weird skill mix. You generally don't want to have cavalry involved in most pvp battles.
@@LegosBooks Li Shimin isn't bad for the meanwhile. There are better generals that are pretty easily obtainable to consider getting later. I'm probably going to do a tavern video later tonight. I think it might target some of your areas of need.
