That report was a lack of troops. Your Debuffs/Buffs are really good! I have a K43 with lower buffs than yourself and tank major AS rallies due to the sheer amount of troops. Overall a very good keep. Keep in my mind without any reins those rallies will hurt even the top players. Yell out your getting rallied 🤣 it makes a night and day difference. Love your vids!
thanks man, ya i asked for reins in chat immediately... but thing was about this semi finals AS noone sent me a discord invite prior to, they tried to do it in the 5 minute count down and it would have taken me too long to type in the invite link on discord and possibly get zero'd when afk so i wasn't on comms :(
BTW: You have way too many points to give up on your top end. You need that t1 cav meat shield wall to buffer that. Gold flat HP refines on your monarch gear and close to a bil t1 mounted.
You need to build a lot of t9 & t10 siege. Siege in t9 & t10 obliterates archers. After some time, you build them up (there is no enough of siege); you will be targeted with siege ralies. Then, you should focus debuffs for a siege attacks.
I have read the comments, and yes, a mounted T1 wall with flat refines will allow you to last a bit longer. That is not the route I took. I am pretty well balanced in my troops. From T15 down to T1. I am trying to get up to 10m layers, but right now have about 5-7m each. Heavier on siege than the others. I actually have had bigger players give up on hitting me. I can sit for many hits before they finally succeed in zeroing me. I would suggest you build up your layers. 1m each is insufficient. But one thing that I have always done from day 1 of playing this game, is research. I know tactic scrolls is an issue, but go hard on all pvp research. And anwhere else you get buffs and debuffs. Beast seals, Senate, art treasures, etc. And dare I say it? Reroll those refines on duty officer gear. Go for pvp refines, not stone gathering speed. (But that can be done right before all stars). My biggest strength is my research. I am smaller than many, but they have a very hard time taking me out.
nice man, i'm no slouch when it comes to research, for sure. 229 mil tech power. think it's just not having the defensieve layers, i am built for offensive attacks so i can get points to qualify for all stars. don't think i will be making a ton of defensive layers that will do nothing for me when it comes to getting points to qualify for all stars until i have a few more all star dragons. cause basically after 2 more legendary dragon eggs, i will need galaxy coins for the other two and i can get more of those from elite or junior league all stars than i can major league. unless you can dissasemble legendary dragon eggs for galaxy coins or something???
You should have at least 1b troops at your size. I prefer t1 cavs because the archers target them while your other troops attack the archers, the archers target the t1 ground after wiping out all your cav/archer. If you're going to stick with ground up the t1s to 1.5b, t2 500m, t3-t7 100m each minimum. You're going to need a ton of food
That's 100% correct...if the Archer rally goes through your t1 cav wall, they will continue on with your archers. Your goal should be to stop such an arch rally with your cav wall, the bigger you can make it the better...Cav hp flats on your gear and dragon is most important. Cav flat defense isn't as important, i would instead go with ground troop defense refines, flats would be better but you for sure need to really bulk up on all your layers.
@realBarbLife yes I've seen people try to do ground and switch to mounted for this reason. If you're a pure trap it works fine but for a keep designed to tank rallies there is a reason everyone uses mounted
@@flushing_queens4827 gotcha, with all the feedback here i know understand. i had the order of attack wrong, thinking ground protected my ranged and siege machines but they only protect my siege machines from archers before dying. that's a major thing to have not known
I know you don’t want to hear it but you need an rss seller or a hell a lot of alts to build an insane amount of troops to survive that. Not unless you want to spend double what you are spending so you can continue to do buildings and troops at the same time.
ok cool yes in the long run i plan on going heavy on making more siege, all i ever do is collect stone which is going towards buildings and other stuff for now but once i have the t15's and k42 i plan on making a ton more siege... don't think i will complete all that before next all stars though. thanks for the feedback
Because you use both high tier troops and want lower tier troops for defense, your gear should be refined for both % and flats. Maybe have 1 or 2 flats for each piece of civ gear. Also, you need more troops (at least 250m - but ultimately 1b).
The key is reducing their debuff abilities. Flat refines on every piece of attack gear, no percentages. Also you want to try to mix up flats on HP gear, it will save your lower troops that are needed to survive the big rallies.
Versus a rally of that size ( 76m troops total ) , you wont be able to solo defend it unless you are over 30b power and that's again marginal. You NEED to work with your team (be on voice chat) and ask for reinforcements. Don't forget its 1 defender that has to spread his buffs on 4 troop types vs 15 players that all send Archers and you are facing T16 troops as well... Realistically speaking you have to be a really big keep to handle solo rallies from these players - else you need reinforcements.
ground and archer layers should always be at least 10m but 20m for T12 archer for T1 having 1B cav with attack and hp flate refine for defense ground % refine try to unlock advance refine ascend duty officers as much as you can for more in city buffs max second and third wall dragon talents level in city defense to 20 in the commander section in the senate and same with in city range and siege hp in governor section in the senate for siege layers T1 to T7 layer should be 4m at max ( because of their short range ) and 10m from T8 and above but 20m for T11 and T13 T9 and T10 siege are the best against archer rally level spirt beast's seals to level 51 and pasture 38 to unlock more buffs.
flat refines, and build the t1 cav wall and archer t1 wall. i don't know what other layers you have, but you need to have the other layers. from what i have seen with other players, they have the most layers on t4 t6 and t8
@@realBarbLife no problem, i am only 1.6B and can take hits from 9B players with my 120 million t1 cavs, and smaller t1 walls in ground, siege and archers. with your power and buffs should make it easy for you to be safer during rallies
You need thick layers if you want to tank those 60+m rallies. You have the capability to build out a ton of layers, having at least 15+m layers seems to be standard with around 1b t1 cavs and 1b t1 ground. Those 50b keeps usually have around 3b+troops and they have 25+m layers. You basically want to have too many troops for a rally to fight through
gotcha, thanks. I just want to unlock the other t15's and get to k42... before i spend hundreds of billions on other layers. also increasing alot in troop power for defense will not help my attack or ability to get points and qualify for all stars so putting that on the back burner until i acquire more dragons... it's a tough balance but if i go up 5 bil more power in troops or so and gain nothing on the offense side I will face much harder boc competition and potentially have a much more difficult time qualifying all stars
you sort of answer your own question. I woud also suggest your t1 wall being mounted and flats. your layers arnt what is killing you really. Also more t11-13 siege that will deter range a great deal.
Yeah sorry for the punctuation, phone been giving me hell. Just mean your overall setup is good and those flats (even though I don't necessarily suggest it as you get bigger and at your size) for ground would make a huge difference alone. Though I still recommend the mounted wall. Also as far as the wall goes especially the mounted you would be surprised how much they can kill. 😺
I would say build many T1s Cavs for example 1B of them and change your HP refines to all Cav HP flats and for your wall dragon also change refines to cav HP flats
roger, about flats since I am going t1 ground is attack important? or can i get away with just defense and hp flats and siege machine %'s for attack??? that's what i have been thinking of doing since in the long run i will have more siege machines than anything else
@@realBarbLife when you have that massive amount of wall (2b troops) the total attack gain you will get from these flats, outscale the % buff for another troop type - but its all about maths at the end. You can calculate whats more beneficial for you (flat ground or siege %) and change accordingly.
You have a good buff, but why you lose? I think this is what you think now because you see other player power like you can survive to take one rally although maybe their buff lower than you. So the answer is, like i say along time ago, you need a quantity troops. To reach it fast with lower tiier and give some flat gear to make them strong.
