Do you have a video out that explains the difference between HP and defense? You mention multiple times how they are different but I can’t find how they are different. Thanks!
I explained it in a previous video, but I don't remember which one. Essentially defense decreases the damage you receive and HP increases the damage you take. I would recommend checking out Derrick Defies on YT, he does a much better job explaining it
Why the focus on attack for a ground general? Ground troops have the highest HP. So, increases in HP % should have greater effect than attack (which they are the lowest of all troop types).
You can argue either way, that it's more important to maximize HP/Def or try to compensate for low Atk. The truth is that different scenarios will favor different stats. Remember that MS also increases your total HP pool, so that's important for survivability too. I covered the Atk more since the HP/Def are simple one to one comparisons.
@@josebarrios7576 The formula to calculate effective attack is (MS x Troop Attack). The generals will increase the MS and Troop Attack with this formula (Base Troop Attack x Increased % Attack from General + Attack Buff from Others), and it's the same for MS. The tier of the troop will increase the Base Troop Attack.
Is there a recommendation of how much improvement is needed before considering a trade up in generals? I know its a little different for each player but at what point do you really start seeing a difference in performance
Like you said it depends on the general, I would recommend checking out my video I did on my calculators and run the numbers for each general at the level you have them. Or you could send both generals to attack the same target (like world boss) with no dragons, gear, ect, the same number of troops, and see who does more damage. This will give you a rough idea of when it's time to swap out the old for the new.
when Ludwig as the assistant, you put the buff as he has a dragon with, it is a mistake or can assistant general benefit the dragon buff working as a assistant?
If an Assistant has a Dragon it *does* activate the bonuses to Attack/Defence/HP/etc. for "When equipped with a Dragon" BUT the Dragon's bonuses to Attack/Defence/HP/etc. won't count so you could give him a Lvl 20+ Dragon with maxed abilites and it would be the same as giving him a Lvl 1 Dragon, because the ONLY difference the Dragon makes is activating the "When equipped with a Dragon" changes... certainly not worth it for most players, wasting the actual Dragon bonuses (though I do have a Lvl 1 Spiritual Beast I don't spend on, I just use to activate an Assistant General's "When equipped with any Spiritual Beast" bonuses... one day I'll get a better set up but it works for me at the moment).
His stats are on my updated spreadsheets and I did a community post about him. When he released I didn't have time to cover him, and if I did it now the video would do poorly since he's been out a while
dear god you are not HEARING the pronunciations correctly........the first one was TOTE TEE AHH .....the second was TOE TEE WAH. YOU have a SPEECH impediment because you have a HEARING impediment. Despite that its obvious you never ever paid attention in history class ...you have the best informative evony vids on youtube.
Totila was a real historical figure, if you look at paintings of him the version in game is similar to the originals. The biggest difference I see is that in real life his beard looked more scraggly.
