Herra is prolly my fav for the simple fact you can fully zoom out with it's camera. Its the only playable that doesnt make me feel like im up its ass lol
TRUE HAHA I DIDNT REALISE HOW CLOSE UP WE TRUELY WERE TILL HERRA FREED US (smaller Dino’s should have much more zoom out anyways especially troo, dryo, Bepi, Ptra and hypsi. I really wish we could zoom out more in general just cus it looks better and feels better. (I like taking photos outside of replay and it’s easier to do it in game sometimes.)
@@Nate-ub8isDinosaurs that walk on 2 legs (Also Called Theropods) are not lizards they are related to modern birds and birds are modern theropod dinosaurs
Easily going to be my main animal in this game for a good while, I love how it's decent in water and I've wanted an Arboreal animal in the game since I started back in 2017, I always loved Herrera back in Legacy and now it's actually worth playing!
Would it be possible to do a map guide? Like the different spawning points and which one is best for which dino, how to orient oneself, the sanctuaries and migration areas, etc. Cause I'm so lost on the new map, especially with the fog.🙈 Your guides are the best! Thank you so much for your work.💚👍
make sure your shadows are set to medium, perhaps this fog you see is the bugged one a lot of people reported about the spawn points... the AI is so bugged right now that I won't even touch the carnivores side when I'm playing, they are literally starving or cannibalizing to survive, it's such a sad situation. For now I will wait for the devs to fix the AI spawn rate and then I'll do the map guide! Thanks for the support ❤️
Your videos are always informative. I can trust your info, unlike some other RU-vidrs, because you always test everything. I knew most of what you showed but still learned new things. Thanks
Do keep in mind though it’s not efficient when you want to escape from danger. Occasionally it bugs out when you do that and you’ll find yourself being stuck in the air next to the tree. Ofcourse you can jump to fix it but it could be too late to escape then you know.
1. Herrera has a vocal/f call... it can only be triggered by typing in chat. 2. No need to jump from the ground & RMB to hold on a surface to climb it. Simply walk to it, and press/hold RMB.
Neat video :3! I don't really see vids with really all of the animations and you put some work into it :D The music was nice too! I enjoyed watching it a lot and am waiting for the mentioned map guide!
yes, i'm playing right now and i just took aa rabbit up a tree. if the tree limbs are large enough like the massive trees at the top sometimes you can drop it on the branch and have a free tree meal if it doesnt bug out
Can it pounce a ptero mid air or hung on another tree? That would be cool. Also can a raptor pounce it's pounce? These are the questions of the future...
you can drop a ptero midair if your ping lets you, cause we know desync is a thing and you won't like to drop 30 meters from the tree. The raptor can pounce back yeah, since Herrera pounce is just a belly drop, it doesn't grab the prey like Omniraptor does
Herrera is fun, I smoked a sub adult Cerato after he laid down beneath my tree, he never knew I was there. He must have been wounded cause I killed him in one fall attack lol
good morning Kouga, how are you today??? thank you so much for the video, I love the herrera and its mechanics and I like the fact that it is the first tree dinosaur in the game 😁😁😁
try this to reset your controls **How to delete CONFIG folder** - close your game - press windows + r - search %localappdata% - find The Isle > Saved > DELETE Config - do not write anything, just search it by eye! all your settings will become default, including the automatic alt bite, SO CHECK IT AFTER!
Unfortunately AI is a bit bugged, so carnivore life is not so good. Usually I'm spawning northeast of south, and then running near highland forests and rivers
@@KougaArt they have totally fixed the ai food issue btw. And thanks for the info I get it now. You have to hold right click and then space. But ya it don’t work if you don’t right click
I don’t know if the keg breaking is functional yet or if it was taken out? Because I’ve jumped off some very high places trying to end my run yk be another dino and I’ve taken no damage from all falls
Right my question is HOW DOES A HERERRA HUNT AND WHERE?! real talk hererras dont hunt for their own food? They just scavenge? Making it weak and prone to starvation 80% of the time
I've seen Herreras hunt in the northeast spawn, they make baits with pieces of meat or corpses and then wait for a juvie spawn. Basically a spawnkilling, and if they're coordinated enough they are able to double pounce a bigger prey
@@KougaArt ah yea I've used the bait tactic brother xD it brought death to my tree 🤣 like 100 dilos and eventually a cera I had to retreat and try again but ended up attracting another herra that was soo hungry that it decided it wanted to eat me 😆 my lives as a Herrera have been nothing but pain and suffering 🙌🏻 maybe pounce needs a buff or a stun lock to lock them in place for a few seconds at least to get a few bites off and maybe kill it if it's smol but personally I never spawn kill or juvi kill if anything I'll give my life to protect the juvis from those preying on them even if their herbis (thanks for replying by the way) :)
@@conorscriv7149 it's quite sad that the AI spawnrate is bugged right now, so the carnivores are not spreading across the map, they are simply just spawnkilling and staying at the spawns. When the AI gets fixed things shall become usual again, with everyone walking around and Herreras finding smaller prey 💪
@@KougaArt when ai is viable to hunt, hererras will be much more of a Dino I'll be playing often I honestly love the thing other than spino and baryonyx and pachy it's my favourite Dino honestly so I've just been using it to grow as much as I can and find the mixpackers on the server to literally chuck myself at them from on high 😆 death from above (if their stupid enough to stick around) but yea hoping better ai spawns saves our beloved herrera
you can just fly and bite them while they are in trees or in the ground, but never go above them or they jump on ya. If you're not confident at all, don't face herreras, specially if you fall easily when flying in a forest@@KALTIMOR
usually the alt attacks do more damage but are slower, I would recommend using them only for directional attacks (behind, sides, etc) using Alt attacks in normal fights is very situational (like the Carno or Cerato with their alts)
i love how impossible herra is... no ai even in crappy migration locatios NOR anywhere else. but hey at LEAST we dont get retarded spasms from cannibalizing the hundreds of dead herra bodies littered throughout the migration spots and map due to them starving. on top of that, youll spend 99.9 percent of your time sitting in a tree or the ground, recovering stam for about 5 minutes just to lose it again in about 2 minutes. i swear the more i play this game.. the more i realize how much the devs need a brain check. i really hope their stamina nerf kills this game if its not corrected to where we can ACTUALLY play the fucking game instead of sitting on our ass....
