When I was in law school each year the career services office would award the "Golden Plunger Award" to the student that got the worst rejection letter. They'd take a new plunger (obviously) and spray-paint it gold! Would've been way better if it was one of your plunger cakes frosted with gold. I once got one that said "We haven't made final decisions on who we will hire for our summer internship program, but we wanted to let you know you're not being considered." So, basically, we don't know who we're hiring, but it sure as hell won't be you! I submitted it, didn't even get third place because there are so many evil rejection letters for law students!
