Besides, I not sure if it is catalan, it might well be valenciano or mallorquin, because catalan is not a single lenguage, but there is a whole family of them, similar but not the same lenguage. It is always a joy to find responses in any of the spanish lenguages here in youtube.
She sang the Messiah in Ann Arbor in 1999 or 2000, but she didn't ever record any of it. I reached out to Michigan Public Radio because I had heard that the performance was recorded, but they said they could not release it without the permission of all of the artists involved.
@@jonjon71 thanks for the elaboration; the weird thing though about it that , I think it was around the beginnings of year 2000 my voice teacher in El Camino Community College in Torrance, CA let me listen to a cd with Ms.Podles`s Messiah ,saying she was the best contralto in the world. I think somebody is doing the shiity job of keeping this cd from the rest of us.
@@misscameroon8062 Oh wow! I wonder if it was an audience recording that only a few people have. Ewa's manager once told me that her English was heavily accented in the performance, so I wonder if perhaps the recording is being kept private. I wish we could hear it!
She was much better then MH who always sang in the false mask and distorted the Italian pronunciation badly. Somehow she became very successful 🤷♀️ Ewa was much better ❤
Il n'est pas si facile de les "comparer". Il est certain que EP attrape des notes plus aigues que MH et chante sur plus d'étendue. Mais les changements de registre de EP sont moins réussis que ceux de MH, laquelle parvient à produire un timbre global plus homogène. Mais en réalité, ces comparaisons n'ont aucun intérêt. Chacune nous donne ce qu'elle a de meilleur et chacune est fantastique dans son registre. Quelle chance que ces deux-là aient pu nous enchanter !
