That was sad to hear they were upset by the reaction to the prequels. Obviously nothing beats the originals but they were light years ahead of eps 7-9 and decent movies. On a different note, man has Ewan aged well. He looks no older than he did in episode 3. Really enjoying obi-wan!

It's so sad the critics made Ewan McGregor dislike the Star Wars universe for a while, while he had such amazing acting skills and gave so much energy and devotion to bring the character to life. I'm so glad he came back and enjoys it more now, well deserved!

Ewan and Hayden (along with Mark Hamill) are my favorite actors in Star Wars, amongst a sea of amazing actors. You can see how much they love the Star Wars universe. I really think these 3 actors were absolutely perfect for the characters! I mean the entire main cast of the prequels and OT were perfect for the characters.

He’s always been an excellent physical actor. The scene with the Tusken raiders and his mother from AOTC still gives me chills as well as his scenes on Mustafar. His body language is incredible.

It’s sad that they look back on the prequels and say that. I loved 2 and 3 actually and I’ve been made fun of for even liking the prequels. I’m glad they’re getting a second crack at it. Hayden and Ewan deserve it.

I have so much respect for the whole entire prequel cast. Despite the asshole prequel bashers they still won’t let that slow them down from providing us fans who love the prequels a great story and they always deliver. I’m so grateful to them! I’m loving the series so far!❤️😃

You see there are many film buffs or inspired wannabe film directors in sci-fi genre and they were comparing the George Lucas behind original trilogy to the Lucas this is my own baby prequels. You didn't see it but the passionate fans saw significant flaws that didn't live up to their expectations. They were trying to back up their argument and as you said it the debate got heated

@@bechelerroseme6821 Nah nah nah. The wave of pure hate that the precuels got was not justified. Ypu can dislike sth, but to all the toxic fans that did this, they are not really fans. Everything comparee to the originals won't ve as good, but the prequels are good movies, no one can argue with that. You can like them more or less, but credit where it's due. This is a leson to be learned. As time passes, the prequels and their stories become more and more apreciated, and most of the "fans" thst "hate" them, hsven't even seen them.

These two deserve to do this series after all the crap the prequels got. They both did great and are just as iconic as the originals! Besides in the originals; for me it was all about Luke, Han and Leia. Those three actors were the iconic ones in those movies. In the prequels for me it was Anakin, and Obi Wan.

Since Hayden back on sw and back super happy on interview put me so much happiness in my life feel like the big brother back it's crazy made me cry cause he put his souls to the anakin roles and never get recognize as a very good actor like di caprio, if his agents got more serious role on a big screen it will be the actor of the decade I'm so glad he back acting we need more good director for him to make great future film Hayden will be always my favorite actor by his introspection on his feeling and plays so well all the gesture, man is gem for cinema love you Hayden ❤❤❤

Love the first 2 episodes (except for that chase scene lol). Seeing Obi Wan react to hearing about Anakin still being alive was a SW moment I didn't know I needed. Great stuff.

I was born in 1999, so the prequels we're my childhood in the way that the OT was my parent's childhoods. The sequels came out when I was a teenager and entering early adulthood, so they've all been a part of my life and I love them all.

These few critics had their platforms back in the day but they didn't speak for the fans. The same stands for today, there might be a few media articles that are critical of the new series, they are one person and those few people don't speak for me or others. I absolutely loved Ewan and Haydens performance back in the day and the Obi-Wan series further cemented that feeling. It also bridged a gap which needed closure. Fantastic and THANK YOU for producing this, we are so lucky we had the same actors play their roles.

The actor looks timeless. Well im a big fan since the original trilogy until the trilogy of anakin and obiwan. Best lightsaber duel. I thought that jedi didnt duel phyically but they duel on their mind, one mistake or distraction they cut in half. How cool is that...

Always bothered me knowing a lot of the filming used to be blue screen and green screen as a viewer because we all want to feel that they are in the environment we feel as fans. But they did a brilliant job of it, I am glad they are getting the recognition they deserve. I was new to Star Wars 4/5 years ago only and I never hated it once. People always wanna find flaws and will find them as Hayden rightly put out.

The leaks seem to be somewhat right so far so if vader ends up killing reva and she was just misguided and good all along then I guess the leaks are accurate, also in one of the posters where the bad guys have the good guys in replace of their eye and vice versa, reva has vader in her eye despite being a supposed bad guy, so she must have an arc where she betrays vader

I don't like either of them. The inquisitors are such a basic thing that come from a cartoon there's no real emotion behind them. Not the fault of the actors just the fault of the characters being pulled from a children's cartoon. Which is saying something because some children's cartoons these days have really deep characters.

apparently you can't be a fan if you didn't like the prequels. you're 'just a critic' or something? i'm all for accepting them as these characters and excited to see them handle good writing and good direction, but Lucas ruined those prequels, and you don't get to 'no true scotsman' me for thinking that along with millions of other fans. good luck and you have my support now and in the future but i still dislike the bad writing and bad performances of that bad writing in the prequels...
