Translated by ck 2020-04-03 =================================== Suggested English syllable allocation in the sentence corresponding to the Chinese version. Number at the end of a sentence denotes syllable count. I keep it close to the original such that it may be sung in the translated verse. *Lyrics:* •------[ Stanzas 1, 4 ]------• [ 0:05 / 1:42 ] _Aiya.. kan - beiji - wulemie - gunke,_ (10) *哎呀.. 看那 - 天空中 - 明媚的 - 月亮* (12) Ai Ya.. I am Native American and have traced my DNA roots back to Ewanki Chinese ancestry. It is mind blowing to know I am a part of this grand Chinese culture and to know my origins began in China. I am very humbled and also proud to be of Chinese ancestry. Wow! I will make it a priority to visit China within the next year.
Ewanki is not Chinese Han... Ewanki people lives in Siberia, Mongolia, and North-east of Inner Mongolia, China... it means they lives in at least 3 countries.
Early humans first arrived at East Asia. Then some of them settled down as the ancestors of people in China and its neighbors, while the rest marched northwards. Later, early Americans went on to the new world leaving the ancestors of Mongols, Ewenki, Oronchons, Manchus hunting and gathering on the vast North Asian land. And it's possible that Native Americans and their cousins kept in touch for a long time and might contact with each other from time to time.
All the peoples speaking Manchu-Tungusic languages can trace their origin all along the DNA lineage and archaeological footprints back to the southern banks of the Khanka Lake. From there, they spread to the neighboring taiga, plains, mountains, swamps, and islands.
This is a beautiful song! But I don't think it is Evenki. Her clothing looks more like Buryat, a people closely related to Mongols, living in Siberia just east of Lake Baikal.
