If you have a different opinion on EWS reservation, it is your point of view. Our discussion, here is not going to change anything. I very well know why reservations or quotas were introduced in India. It was done to bring equality in Indian population by providing access to basic needs to every citizen as those who were classified as lower castes based on their occupation were largely discriminated and were denied basic rights like education and jobs. To my opinion the same holds good in providing reservations for EWS to uplift them from their poverty and provide basic rights like education and jobs to them and eliminate the discrimination and supression of their basic necessities.

May be my reply could help to understand your question. One of my friend cleared her tnpsc exam. She scored better percentage were she can select the vacancy from her quota or in general. In that case , she had chosen in general to make her quota available for others. If ews implemented, obviously general seats will reduce and hence few portion of the quota people who choose use to general,have to take thier quota. Which in term affects some people. I guess it's the reality....but if we really want to help the general community -lower income people. The min income should be lower ,may be it can be progressive !!!

Basic constitution of our indian constitution says that reservation is to make backward and scheduled caste people to come forward in education , jobs and higher position in it (because they were segregated as shutras for 2000+ years by brahmins , so they are not allowed to educate on those days ,get jobs , attain high position etc... Totally for brahmins and blind brahmins believer kshatriyas (kings) shutrs should not even walk infront of them ) so after independence DR.B.R.AMBEDKAR have created constitution and says all are equal infront of law and gave set of articles from 14 to 32 which is based on equality so based on these this backward and scheduled caste people should come up to get equal with brahmins because here all are equal and all should get equal opportunity according to art 16 ITS NOT BASED ON ECONOMICAL STATUS but this EWS based on ECONOMICAL CONDITION OF GENERAL CATEGORY so this EWS is totally voilating basic structure of our indian constitution.... that's why among 5 judges 2 were given verdict against this EWS but remaining 3 judges didn't se this may be thier POONUL won't allow them to see this thing. I don't know .... But no law should voilate basic constitution even we can't amend it in parliament 👍🏽❤️

@@akkiniraj390 in that case they should remove the section which is not qualifying EWS category from other reservations. Only the deserving and actually backward will then get the deserved reservation.
