I remember this pastor said how God created time by arranging the stars and created seasons by aligning planets .. all something that humans think they figured out but God had already created those elements he just blessed us with the knowledge to use them.

Acts 2:38 is for service, not salvation. Acts 16 and brought them out and said Sirs what must I do to be saved. And they said believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved... The sole purpose of this life is to love God and love your neighbor as yourself. True, if we love God and love our neighbors as ourselves we will obey His commandments. Thankfully we aren't saved by loving God but rather because He first loved us and gave Himself for us. Jesus is Lord God Almighty clothed in unsinful humanity and He is the author of eternal life to all who trust Him alone for salvation. Jesus paid for all the sins of all the world at the cross (past, present, and future). That payment is put to your account when you have believed on Christ alone for salvation. When you have believed on Christ alone for salvation then you have repented unto life! The Holy Spirit comes to live inside you the nanosecond that you have believed on Christ alone for salvation. Salvation is absolutely free recieved solely by trusting in the person and finished work of Christ alone, and is certainly not conditional upon service to God. Service (discipleship) if you choose it can cost you everything if you go all out in serving God. Our good works, repenting of sins, and obedience, are solely for rewards in Heaven or a lack thereof and have absolutely nothing to do with salvation at all. The only reason anyone will ever be in Heaven is solely by the perfect life, shed blood, death, burial, and resurrection, of Jesus Christ alone. Anything added or subtracted from this is another gospel. Salvation is free, instant, and eternal. Rewards are worked for! For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved. That means to put all of your confidence (trust) in the person and finished work of Christ alone for salvation.

I like that you found Christ, you seem to have a good knowledge of the scriptures. I wonder if you have read about the Apostles Church through the letters of the Apostolic Fathers. These men were the early martyrs who were schooled in the faith by the Apostles themselves. It might be interesting for you to read their letters! Maybe see how their early beliefs and practices match yours. (Polycarp, Clement of Rome, Ignatius of Antioch) Also, a bit of friendly advice, be careful not to condemn other churches of which you don't fully understand. It would be a shame if you spent the rest of your life condemning the one and only Church that Jesus founded eg: Re bible. check out revelation 12 for proof of Mary as queen of Heaven. Yes and so does the Mormon church and the Jehovah's Witness Organisation, they preach and say Jesus is Lord too. We must acknowledge the truth in the Bible and if you compare the Bible to Catholic Church teachings they are very different. For example the Catholic church does not preach the Gospel that forgiveness of sins is only in Jesus but they say you must work for it and that we cannot be justified by faith. The Catholic church has many teaching which are not in the Bible. For example praying to Mary and saints, making and worshiping statues, purgatory, the mass where a priest performs some mystical ritual called transubstantiation. There is no pope in the Bible and Jesus was the last priest, there are no more priests. Jesus warned of men who enlarge the garments and also warned not to call any man father or master. If you read the Book of Revelation you will see quite clearly that the Roman Catholic Church is portrayed there as a harlot as opposed to a pure bride. God tells us to come out of her and be not partaker of her plagues. The Catholic church has shed much much blood of the saints. These are not misconceptions they are truth from the Word of God and documented history.

You were never Christian, you were Muslim, you toyed with Christianity and then returned to Islam. You were not a Christian at any point. This is because you still had an Idol in Allah. Yes, Jesus does show that He is God repeatedly in the Bible and even in the Quran where it states that He is the word from/of God. The Bible says this... "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." -John 1:1 "And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth." -John 1:14 The Quran confirms this statement. In Surah 3.39 an angel announces to Zachariah that his son John (Yahya) will witness to a kalimatim-minallaah, "a Word from God", and in Surah 3.45 the angels, in announcing the conception of Jesus to Mary, speak of him as a kalimatim-minhu, "a Word from Him". The title, thus applied on no less than three occasions to Jesus, is not applied to anyone else in the Qur'an yet, as with the title Messiah, no attempt is made to explain it. Of course, the Quran is not the true word of God but a poor imitation written 500 years after the prophecies of the coming messiah are fullfilled in Jesus, God is not indesicsive or bipolar, He has spoken and fullfilled His word. He does not change His mind 500 later and spread a different message via a powerless messenger. Repent, TRULY repent and do not dare to test the Lord. Go to Him humble, meek and seeking the Holy Spirit to aid you in your repentance. Go to GOD, with you face in the dirt and request with all your heart for forgivness through the Blood of the Saviour of Mankind Jesus Christ. You can choose to take your chances with an unproven Allah, and just wait and see what he has in store for you and base things on man`s understanding , or you can trust that God Almighty has already delivered men from the curse of Adam.
