This is by far the absolute best instructional video!!! Employers are expecting you to know how to use AI prompts in the real world so there’s really no excuse not to follow these awesome directions. I just wish I had done this when I wasn’t desperately looking. 😔 Thanks to tech layoffs here I am. This is so much work though. Say I find 10 roles I feel qualified for, that’s like 60 prompt runs through ChatGPT. It’s exhausting! I’m tiredddd! 😰 The job market is so tight now there’s no choice … quite sad. Thank you though!

I am trying to find prompts for Chat GPT to create a cover letter that expresses interest in possibly getting my foot in the door with digital marketing companies while i am attending a boot camp in UX/UI Design. I’ve searched Google and all prompts seem to be more specific, with a position in mind. Any suggestions? Thank you! :)

I had HRler who told me that they discarded any applications that sounded like ChatGPT. Even if they didn't. They rather risk discarding a self-written application before they risk giving the job to an "A.I.-cheater".
AI is improving so quickly that it will almost be hard to distinguish its content from human written content. Soon we may start getting assessed by AI. Be it in interviews or before our CVs are received by HRs. Those hiring managers need to embrace the change and find ways to use them in their fields. What we will end up having in future is a lot of good prompt engineers being rewarded.
@@dan-nutu bots are already everywhere. Many of us have already been victims of not being shortlisted because some bot scanning our resumes decided not to, assuming we all missed some keywords yet we have more experience and are able to do certain jobs way better than those being shortlisted. RU-vid bots also recommend some videos tailored to meet our needs. Are we going to protest so that someone should listen to us when we say we don't want to be assessed by bots? Especially that they feel those bots do the scanning quicker.
Until the day that hiring managers can accurately describe their needs then no, not happening. Also, any company that has to follow OFCCP rules has to use humans and every resume has to be viewed and a decision made by a human if that person moves forward or is rejected
I think it’s waste of time (unless it’s required for a great role you’re VERY interested in). I prefer to focus on a good polished resume and sell yourself during the interview/phone screen (if they reach out). Otherwise it’s just too time consuming to tailor it to every single job application especially if you do hundreds a week. I suppose it wouldn’t hurt to have one generic cover letter you could easily attach to job applications though
Add human touch to applications. We should not be too lazy to let AI do everything for us. With time AI generated content will be indistinguishable from what human beings are capable of producing.
