Also, I wholeheartedly recommend you to do the Trailblaze Continuance and the Companion Mission quests!! They're fully voiced and they're cool as hell. They introduce you to playable characters that don't appear in the story as much, or they're just for you to know their story better! You seem to like Dan Heng and Blade, so you could do "Clouds Leave No Trace" once you unlock it. I also recommend doing "Night of Universal Hallucinations", it introduces Argenti, and it's straight up one of the funniest quests in this game. "Crown of the Mundane and Divine" is insane, one of my favorite quests ever because It introduces Dr. Ratio, who is (thanks to this quest) one of my favorite characters ever, and it also introduces Ruan Mei. "Punklorde Mentality" Is Silver Wolf's quest, and I think it's pretty neat too. Of course it's up to you! I really like that you seem genuinely hyped with the lore, and boy this is just the start. Funnily enough, a lot of people didn't really like the Xianzhou arc, and i kinda agree with them in the fact that the story quest could've been developed with less exposition of the lore- But it's still good! What I'm trying to say is, if you liked the Xianzhou arc, you're going to DIE when you experience Penacony. Keep up with the peak content, brother.
If you want to know more about the world and the lore in general, the side quests often drop some lore bombs. Same goes for the little things you can investigate during the story (those weapons and bodies scattered around scalegorge, they have dialogues when you interact with them, not sure if you knew this already or not but just thought I would mention it just in case you didn't haha) The companion missions are good too and great if you want to understand a specific character's lore. Peakcony is next and it's by far the best one they've done, make sure to check the quest log/quest description in between tho! It's pretty intresting since the descriptions often offer some more insight on what the characters are thinking (at least during the penacony arc at a certain point). Super excited to see you play it! You'll absolutely love it xD
Make sure to do the other story quests as well to know more lore about the High Cloud Quintet (the old gang with Dan Feng, Jing Yuan, Blade, Jingliu lore). After doing Kafka story quest, the order should go like this: Yanqing Dan Heng Jingliu Jingliu story quest in particular is the big quest that shows everyone from the gang reuniting after 700 years.
RIP to the audio but the Phantylia boss is always hype. The phase 2 music was on my train for a long ass time. Did you do the Dan Shu side quest (it used to be main story but they patched it to not be)? It adds a lot to why the Xianzhou stopped following Abundance, Yaoshi gets weird with it. Hope you talked to Fu Xuan before going down to fight the Sanctus Medicus boss. It's easy to miss but it's probably my fav interaction with her goofy ass.

You're prob gonna want to look into the lore of the High Cloud Quintet if you want to know the history between Jing Yuan, Dan Heng, and Blade (as well as Jingliu and the late Baiheng). Next time you go to farm the Phantylia boss turn on the music at least once it goes hard! And ya she's an emanator of destruction I love how she gets increasingly pissed off and desperate and her Nanook colors come through. It's my favorite of the boss fights you've done so far. Basically Jing Yuan let himself be momentarily captured by Phantylia then kinda channeled the power of Dan Heng's spear into the lightning lord who impaled Phantylia from the back (wait that sounds wrong) I mean who stabbed Phantylia. Protip when Kafka is telling the truth she looks you in the eye, when she's lying she looks slightly aside. And you've got the whole recording. As for the lore with MC and the Stellaron Hunters, my dude we ALL wanna know.
