Coups may have failed, but they tell us the Army is a hotbed of intense political struggles. Your charge against Gen Qazi is nonsense. As Railway Minister he was accused by vested interests of giving the Golf Course to a Malaysian firm at cheaper rates. There is no other blame or charge of any wrong doing by the Gen in his entire military/ civil career.

Nothing new - Pak army always follows what the Chief says. Yahya pushed aside Ayub and everyone listened to Yahya. When Yahya got pushed aside and put under house arrest, everyone was cool with it.
