All the apartheid judges were guilty of crimes against humanity😳Yet The judge responsible for the death penalty / sentence of Solomon Mahlungu was never impeached . We all have such double standards. If judge Hlope was found guilty of misconduct then he paid the price… to no longer be able to practice as a judge… what else do we want! If we could only be so vocal about the apartheid judges . True, it's strange because Wouter Basson was not arrested but the doctor that worked on forcing gay men in the SADF to get forced gender reassignment therapy was arrested. Another strange thing about Basson is that he was supposedly working for Gaddafi for a while, so maybe the he and the ANC are working together too.
As far as I understand he offered his "services" to Gaddafi AFTER apartheid was dismantled! Washington wasn't pleased about that when they got wind of it and pressured the ANC government to keep Wouter Basson under control.

Dr Mandlakayise Hlophe has not committed any atrocities. Until when must black African people be trodden and treated as subhuman. Why is the ANC doing this to us?
Dr Wouter Basson has been employed as a cardiologist at at least two Mediclinic facilities in the Western Cape. If you don't know who’s Basson, do yourself a huge favour check documentaries on 'Project Coast’. The amnesia of these people. To even put Hlophe on a comparison with Basson is not fair.
"Do as we say, not as we do"! It's always the same case. Those who make the law are seldom the ones who follow it. A typical but maybe not closely related example is that of not wearing a seat belt. Traffic departments (municipal and provincial) rake in millions worth of seat belt fines yet I've never seen a traffic cop wearing a seat belt in my life.
I saw a clip about Wouter Basson a few days ago, advising people how to hide crimes. Seems he is doing public speaking now and part of this also explain how you can keep your pose for a crime when it goes into the open. I saw this but closed it immediately again as this is proper rubbish, how should we do crimes in SA and hide it easily, a few tips.
All you are saying is that people literally get away with murder. However that has nothing to do with Hlophes fitness to appoint judges when he himself proved unfit as a judge. We the citizens of SA deserve better than this.

Apples with pear's - two different scenarios. Wouter Basson was part of a political apparatus that justified what they did in the name of the people. He followed the instructions of the government of the day. What they did was reprehensible. Nicknamed "Dr. Death" by the press for his alleged actions in apartheid South Africa, Basson was acquitted in 2002 of 67 charges, after having been suspended from his military post with full pay in 1999. (Please note the date) Today he saves lives and is highly regarded in his field. Dr Hlope was a highly regarded judge - someone that supposedly would have learned from the errors of the past. He was supposed to be apolitical and devoid of political influence. He was not. That is just as dangerous if not more than what Wouter Basson did. The reason I say this is that his powerful influence could be used to set free criminals (like a Wouter Basson) if he feels it is politically or otherwise justified. He knows the better than any of us - and should be an example. But he is not. Being a "Dr" or an educated person does not mean you are inherently or by default good. But your actions speak. Look at Markus Jooste - the most celebrated entrepreneur in SA - a fraudster who never apologized or tried to atone. Gayton MacKenzie - gang leader turned politician - by his deeds show that he whishes to be better and atone by his actions. That should be the criteria. So lets see if the good Dr follows the rule of law and the constitution. After all - his party whishes to do away with it.
So basically if the government employs my skills to commit genocide it's not my fault it's the government fault and I should not be held accountable for my decision to comply with a inhumane government decision
