Peter is a top man - whilst he was at Liverpool I regularly did yoga classes with him and his wife is a fantastic yoga teacher - absolute die hard red and represented the club with honour, distinction and empathy, and also did some of the best commercial deals in the clubs history. Just a good human being on so many levels, proud to know him
Well... it's finally happened. After 4 years of Talksport youtube clips... finally one worth watching. Instead of Goldstein and Gabby bickering over the usual mundane nothingness.
Unfortunately I think MS business model has changed so much as has that world even he'd struggle with this live service gaming and cloud gaming@@xNSHD
Superb. Had the pleasure interviewing Peter myself about his time at Sega and he was fantastic. Such a genuine guy. Even had a bit of banter about me being a Man United supporter!
Simon / Jim / Danny and talk sport team , simply the most beautiful, thoughtful , articulate interview ever on talk sport .the passion the history the love .WOW
I LOVE what FSG have Done. Invigorating and Exciting the fans and supporters. Getting them involved and making them a part of it all. John henry VISIBLE in Cup Finals and League Games. Love it ALL.
@@chumbob8947 I go to about 8 or 9 games a season, what does this make me? If somebody asks a non-match going fan who they support, what are they supposed to respond with?" I don't support anyone, but I am a fan of......? They're the same thing man
Great interview, really presented well, seen a video of Peter at the Oxford Union, some years ago, well worth a watch, just brilliant. What a lovely man he is.
Such an interesting interview. So much information about how clubs in different sports are linked now. A good insight to Chelsea and Arsenal as well as LFC..
I know nostalgia can be deceptive. But the greatest time as a Liverpool supporter was when you could jump on a bus to the ground and pay at the turnstile. The working man could afford to go every game. No matter how you try to dress it up the owners are just businessmen in it for financial gain.
J W Henry. Fair play he came In and got the best person to run whoever department at the club and only for injuries we could of won more. This year again we bought smart with Endo so I'm all for these guys they love to win like I do so thanks for looking after our club. Because it does mean more than the City way of breaking rules to win a league
@@jakehowie442 How can you know that for sure. Liverpool only buy a player in there wanted list and if not there not going to buy out of desperation. Look at our academy kids these boys could be like the class of 92 and help to win more. We just need a decent coach to do the same press game Klopp has done since 15
I have known Peter Moore for years from his time at Microsoft and EA. EA was hated among gamers for being the big bad capitalist corporation milking their hobby, yet Moore kinda got a pass in the forums for being a funny guy. I laughed my freaking ass off when I heard him in an interview talk about "socialist" Klopp who listens to 14th century history podcasts in the plane. I heard Klopp talking a bit about his politics in german before and would have loved to hear some of the conversations these two had about all that, lol.
I doubt it, but you'll be very lucky to have him if so. He isn't going to take a job for a while though imo, maybe an international job might suit. It's the politics and media stress that have worn him out so Barca might not be his ideal job tbh. Certainly won't be seen in premier league again, great loss to football and Liverpool, but he leaves a great squad and youth set up for new coach coming in. Edwards return is pivotal, he was a huge influence on the structure behind the headlines, on recruitment etc. Liverpool will be fine. Fsg might seem a bit tight with money to some but for me they have done an excellent job at the club, proven that they know exactly what they are doing and have best interests of the club and supporters in mind with every decision, as he said tjey could cash out anytime tjey like, they dont take fortunes out of the club or rack up debts like say the glazers have at man u, very well run club. We will miss Jürgen but I've no doubt about them making the right choices for the future. To anyone that doubts fsg I'd say be careful what you wish for. We don't want oil state ownership, we are in good hands. But I can't see him going to Barcelona with their issues at moment, man deserves a rest.
We may not having been inside the ground to celebrate us winning the league, but we were all outside the ground for a few nights. The media didn’t show it much.
If Jurgen 'only needs a year off' then I wonder if FSG considered giving either Lijnders and Krawietz the job, or even as a duo perhaps, for one season and then allow Jurgen to come back in? This would have been the perfect solution. Now Jurgen is going to come back into football and manage someone else after maybe a year off (possibly less). If Liverpool FC means as much as Klopp says it does to him, I do wonder if such a solution was considered, not to say the owners would automatically accept but it'll all come out one day. Maybe in Jurgen's autobiography. Oh well, the Liverbird will fly on regardless...
Fsg done great things best thing is to get klopp also bring genius Michael Edwards 😊😊😊😊😊 and hopefully xabi and Richard Hughes the club know who they want
04:49 no sky didn’t do a great job. They tried charging fans for each game through pay per view and went nearly everyone refused they sacked it off. Horrible lot them lot at sly sky. Apart from that Peter what a career you’ve had. Lucky guy. All the best.
What a brilliant interview.. what a great job Peter done and a real nice man … fsg have been fantastic owners there’s not a Liverpool fan who ain’t absolutely buzzing with everything they have done for us …. You will always get fans wanting to spend a little more and we all guilty of that .. but we would not want to swap our owners for anyone… we spend in the correct manner we look after the club and infrastructure so so well … thank you John Henry thank you to the fsg team … you gave us klopp and that was enough but you didn’t stop there new stands new training facilities brilliant… and gave us trophies 🏆 ❤
Liverpool are now implementing Multi-Club Ownership with Michael Edwards at the helm. The game is well and truly gone. Too much money and greed has killed the game.
@@philthornton1382I thought it was only money ruining football when Chelsea and city started winning? Glad there’s someone out there with a realistic view and not one of bitterness/jealousy
I think Biggest Priority to Michael Edwards is to sell Diaz and Gakpo to PSG.secondly to go to Manager Pep Lijnders,Ruben Amorim,Sergio Conceicao Because (ALonso and his Player Florian Wirtz already will be on Bayren Munich).Hope to give a chance to see Bradley,Quansah, Amara Nallo,Melkamu Frauendorf,James MacConnell,Lewis Koumas,Bobby Clark,Danns,Musialowski, Gordon.Hope, Gomez, Diaz,Gakpo and Darwin , not in Line up.
