A Chinese guy goes to an eye doctor and the doctor says, "I know why you've been having trouble. you have a cataract." and the Chinese guy says, "No I drive a rincon continental,"
My main concern is how to survive all these financial and political crises, especially in light of political power struggle . The government has really called things harder for its citizens, and we can't just sit back and bear all the consequences of bad governance.
I began investing in stocks and Def earlier this year, and it is the best choice l've ever made. My portfolio is rounding up to almost a million, and I have realized that when a stock makes it to the news. Chances are you're quite late to the party, the idea is to get in early on blue chips before it becomes public. There are lots of life changing opportunities in the market, and maximize it.
All great scenes! My favorite is Anthony Quinn as Neil Dellacroce when he tells Gotti he came very close to getting whacked. God Bless you and your family!
Seriously he was one of my favorite actors but I can't help but feel like he has been compromised as a person. Only the absolute stupidest people think Trump is a threat to democracy. He is a threat to the status quo which is driving our country into the ground. By saying he is a threat to democracy you are literally threatening democracy by not allowing people to have a choice without parading them and treating them like less than you. Keep in mind this is the so-called tolerant left that refuses to tolerate other opinions and call people R words
@@andyadams7806 it is definitely terminal. It affects the brain then it takes over your whole body with ignorance and stupidity until your brain gets fried
It is my understanding that he slept with underage girls where he promised them modeling/acting careers. So while he was (emphasis on was) a great actor, he is a POS
I will still watch his classics (like with Scorsese, or Once Upon a Time in America), but nothing else. I will watch him in current stuff if its done by Scorsese though. The scene Michael reacted to, De Niro made me cringe to be honest. Just a wannabe tough guy.
Hi Michael have you seen the 2014 movie Rob the Mob a romantic crime film based on true story. With the following actors Michael Pitt, Nina Arianda,Ray Ramona,Andy Garcia,Michael Rispoli & Aida Turturro to name a few. I think you did a movie review of similar name/story was a little different. I think this movie was better. God bless you & your family.
Micheal, two things. No 1, it always amazes me how incredible you look for your age especially given the previous life you have led. No 2, I suspect you are still troubled by your past life. Which to be fair is understandable. However, I watched something recently where someone was told to "Stop beating yourself about the past, it's time to move on and let go" That sounds like great advice to me!
I will gladly watch his early films, & his films with Scorsese, but nothing current. I will only watch him in a new film these days if it is by Scorsese. He is also mostly lazy. He has been lazy for the last 2 decades anyway. I actually thought the De Niro scene Michael reacted to was pretty cringe. Just De Niro acting too hard to be a tough guy. It just came off as forced to me. Same thing as his performance as Al Capone in The Untouchables. I know a lot of people like that film & his performance (I like the film), but I thought De Niro was horribly miscast & was just doing a typical De Niro tough guy act.
Deniro, Pesci and Pacino are the most brilliant actors and are always in the best scenes. Thanks Michael and God bless. Paulie from Sydney Australia 🇦🇺
I know you've already covered "The Sopranos" in a different video but there is one scene where Tony is eating at vesuvio and Ralph Cifaretto has to apologize to him and explain what he's done. Great scene to watch because it shows what a boss does to a soldier by telling him down.
Sweet scenes. Only missing was the Joe Pesci character ‘ Am I funny? ‘ iconic scene. Hopefully you react to Tulsa King S2 , The Penguin and the new Mafia The Old Country game.
I have done the door lock test a few times Mike, every woman reached over to lift the lock! These days we have key fobs that open all the doors so it's now a thing of the past! I preach the "for $20 he's out of your life" all the time. I use the concept in all types of situations!
The problem with the Krays is that they're a bunch of loose cannon that ran the entire East End of London and would even mingle with politicians and people in high places thus it gave them abit of superpower that they can level down any organization that comes against them. The mystic status got soo big that they were also attributed to be the reason why the American Cosa Nostra can't infiltrate into Britain. Plus with the brains of Reggie and the absolute instability of Ronnie, no one dared to go up against them in the open so they ran not just the East End but at one point, practically the whole of Central London. Also, boss, you should react to "Tulsa King" soon. It's Sylvester Stallone being a washed out capo of a Mafia family and was sent to Tulsa, Oklahoma to "plant flag" for the family which would later turn sour with him the ultimate boss of the city. Good series that needs a react from. It's still running thru its 2nd season so worth watching.
I'd like to see De Niro speak to Tommy DeSimone the way he rants about Trump. DeSimone isn't alive anymore, but just a hypothetical scenario. De Niro keeps proclaiming how much of a tough guy he is in real life, so I'd just like to see him put his money where his mouth is.
Senior Franzese, I recommend you the movie "Ghost Dog: The Way of Samurai." You're gonna love it, the blend of the Mafia, Samurai, and Hip Hop cultures
Everything you said was 100% spot on! I have to agree with everything you said especially the part about protecting your Women/Wives. I’m 54, and grew up in an Irish/Cajun American household in a neighborhood known as the Irish Channel. My PawPaw was a connected guy back then. It was never something that was never really talked about!
I really enjoy your channel my brother! I'm not Italian, but I am a Christian (Follower of Jesus). I have always admired the the way Italians were all about family. I'm 66 years old and was in the USMC for a while, so I understand about family. GOD Bless you and your family and please keep that good channel coming! Thanks
Michael. Have you ever reviewed scenes from the 1991 movie titled Mobsters with actor Christian Slater who plays Lucky Luciano in the movie? It's a decently good mafia movie although not as good as The Godfather movie saga.
You’re a good old boy Micheal. Would love to have been able to meet you. Very interesting man. Take care pal. Love to you & your family. From Maidstone South East England. All the best 😉
I do enjoy Michael’s reports / intelligent talk from an intelligent bloke. Yes, Peaky Blinders needs subtitles even for us English sometimes. Some of our accents are very different from each other.
Manhattan Melodrama was the last movie John Dillinger saw. That scene with DeNiro, I knew a guy, no names but some people said he knew somebody but he did that. He wasn't selling cars but it was something similar. Very funny to me.
You should do a bunch of scenes from Casino, particularly when Nicky threatened the banker or when he had a meeting with Deniro in the desert. Or some scenes from Road to Perdition. One of my favorite movies.
I love it. Something so simple as showing videos and discussing them, but yet it keeps you on the edge of what my brother Michael is going to say. Absolutely brilliant
Anthony quinn's speech to armand assante in "gotti" when he got john a pass from don carlo was epic. "But if don carlo said you gotta go .i would have come here today with these two zips and you would go" .That scene is chilling.
Mr Franzese should review the movie Green Book. Maybe he knew Tony "Lip" Valalonga. He used to work the Copacabana and maybe met Michael's father. Tony Lip also came out in the Copa scene of Goodfellas as Franky the WOP. There were some Mafia people in the movie too. Would love to hear Mr Franzeses take on their story.
Go into any inner city family, especially Mexican, and you will find one son who is a gangster (gangbanger), and one who is a priest/cop. It happens with friends too. That is definitely a true thing that happens, where two friends will grow up together and one is a criminal the other a cop.
I wonder what he'd make of "Johnny Dangerously". I know it's a comedy, but some of the scenes really seem similar to others that were in gangster/mob movies before & after it came out.
Would love to get your reaction to Mr Inbetween, an Australian crime drama. It’s an absolutely outstanding show, best thing we’ve produced since the Underbelly series.
there was a tv series called "Hunter" a few yuears ago. The scenario was that hunter was a cop and his dad was a crime boss. have you ever reviewed any eposodes of that? i am fairly new to your content. there was one episode where there was an associate of his dad who gets killed and hunter goes to his dad and says not to go to war over this and let him try to figure it out. do you think that scenario might be plausible ? hunter nad his dad are very polite and respectful towards each other in their shared scenes. Just wondering.
I kind of miss Tulsa King, with Sylvester Stallone and all that. I can understand if it reaches too far. Sort of like a post-modern mob family, very much now.
Bon Jono, Mr.Mike. I hope that you and the family are well; I can review Sylvester Stallon's"TulsaKing." My favorite scene is The Godfather's Horse in the Bed scene.
Robert de Niro telling that couple _’LETS NOT FORGET PEARL HARBOR’_ whilst trying to sell them a GERMAN made car is absolutely priceless 😂🤣 Fun fact: In ‘Ronin’ they used a similar Audi S8 🙃
Can you REACT to ROSS KEMP and the ITALIAN MAFIA IN UK , Documentarys :) was very interesting and was very surprised how London was used by the mafia .
lol One of my favorite scenes was in Goodfellas when Maury tried to follow jimmy and Henry in that back room to talk about the money that jimmy owed him. Knock knock 🚪 Jimmy: “who is it”? Maury: “it’s me” Jimmy: “Pete”???! Maury: “uhhh?….yeah”! 😂😂😂
Hello Michael. Could you do an interview with Gianni Russo, who was in The Godfather? That would be fantastic and I'm sure he would love to be in your company for a while too. Best wishes to you. 🙏🏻
i would like to see you crituque books on t he mob and mob people...al capone, hoffa ,,ect....i have been reading thru a bunch of them i got at my local library and they are very interesting ..one i like so far is ''Vindetta" by James Farr about the Hoffa...RFK battle...and another one is "Omerta" by mario Puzzo....so check it and and think about it..would me an interesting show..maybe you and Chaz could do it together ..that would be extraordinary....GOD bless you and keep you safe.....with love from Arizona....KT Jonas
I'd be interested in Michael's thoughts on classic gangster movies from the early days, like The Public Enemy with James Cagney. Yeah, they are more Hollywood myth & not reality, but there are some scenes in this film that I found shocking as I didn't see coming in a film from this era (they go pay a visit to a guy that wronged them early on). The Public Enemy also has some obvious influence on Goodfellas. I also think it'd be interesting to hear Michael give his thoughts on old school gangster actors like Cagney, or Edward G Robinson. Has Michael ever reviewed Mean Streets? Its an important Early Scorsese classic. I have also heard Paul Vario liked that film, but I don't know how true that is.
The door test might have been fine back in the days, and I’m talking about WW2 days because cars have had automatic locks since the mid 1950’s. The first ones were in 1914 -1915 on a luxury car that I forgot the name off
The brothers arguing scene from peaky blinders season 3 after Grace dies. Would like to know more about how was the brotherhood like in Cosa Nostra, your reaction to that scene would be very interesting Mister Franzese.
This was a great reaction video. I’m also pumped for the wise/wise guy podcast, it’s actually really good. It’s a lot of good, helpful, often uplifting stuff (and some mob stuff too).
