I cant imagine the atrocities and wrongs of the past, but at least this is a sincere step in the right direction for reconciliation and moving forward.

A man of truth and conscience. He was young there was nothing he could do he had to follow orders. But the Japanese goverment and army has to acknowledge and apologize this inhuman acts. Open a museum in Japan so it would not happen again. Dont hide the truth because Japan may do it again. Their ego and sense of superiority is too high.
@monipenny408 Agree with you, BUT Japan won't do it again. Recent protests are saying otherwise. Japan government probably will never apologise, and the only apology China can have would come from the soldiers involved directly. But i bet they won't do it again
Who knows, maybe he was one of the senior soldiers at that time and now again trying to infiltrate into China by his admission. He looks like a tough guy and able to control his sanity to this age. He is trained and hence, not an ordinary person.
Chinese people are forgiving. All they want is an apology from the Japanese government, but instead, the Japanese government has not even admitted Nanking Massacre.

The horror this Japanese man has told is the evil equivalent to what the Nazi has done. Evil comes from the same source, Satan who is the adversary of the creator of heaven and earth. But everyone who repents of his sins and accept Jesus as his redeemer will not parish but has eternal life. God said:"an eye for an eye, tooth for tooth,... death for death". This law applies to all men and only if you accept the redemption given by God that you will be saved. No one can escape the judgment, here on earth or in eternity.
