Scenes recorded on Tuesday January 2nd, 2001, of four ex NSWGR 442 class locomotives working between the BHP Port Kembla steelworks and the Elouera colliery.
I'm surprised how fast they're going. It looks exceptionally fast for the line they're on. I can remember seeing #101 (with #103?) at Brownsville occasionally as a kid though...
they used to run coal wash out to a disposal area, then haul coal back to the steelworks. that's why you see the train on two different spurs at the 2min to 3min mark of the video out at the colliery.
