You are right. Maybe he chose to became a president because he wanted to uplift the people. Kasambahay Act was from Noynoy. Giving back the GSIS pension for the working spouses which was canceled by Macapagal. Won the Arbitrary Court that 200 nautical miles from the shoreline which is the West Phil Sea belongs to the Phil. This is being used by Asian countries, the US and Australia. Uplift the education standards of the Phil. He hired 170,000 teachers, built school buildings. He was able to build better economy after Macapagal drained the treasury. He hauled 7million poor pinoys from poverty built 89,000classrooms and gave us k12 which provides poor students who can't afford college chance to learn new skills for employment. He was upright honest humble honorable decent simple hardworking president who respected others and the ideals of our hard won democracy.
