Religion or not he isn’t a good husband. Once he found Robyn “he knew he was in love” & clearly stopped loving them anymore. He should have ended his covenant with them at that moment. Oh no he kept taking their money. Snake in the grass!

Your spot on with all of that. He just wanted their money. Kody not going with Isabel to go get her surgery was pathetic and horrible of him to do that to his daughter. He is such a creep. He makes sure he doesn’t miss anything for his two youngest but when any of the other children need him he is nowhere to be found. What a jerk!!!!

He has been acting for years with Meri. He never wanted her and it’s so gross that Robyn went along with it. Knowing all along that Kody wanted nothing to do with Meri. They just wanted her money. She gave a lot of money to them. Christine didn’t so she wasn’t as invested as Meri was and is. She is taking a big financial loss because of Kody and Robyn.

@@Jenniferalvarez19818 Glad you mention this.. I see or read A LOT of people saying “Janelle was the bread winner for the family”. Was she? Meri makes good money off them clothes. Have you priced them? Their expensive. She been selling them for YEARS. Yes Janelle tired to sell homes in NV & flopped from what I remember. Yes she worked when the kids were little they said but what did Janelle do to be the breadwinner? She might have been that when the kids were little but I feel Meri was the breadwinner at the end.

@@jennifergrody I don’t think Janelle was ever the breadwinner. Meri has been that’s for sure. She paid for all the extras on her house in Las Vegas. She is the one who has paid the most on coyote pass. And yet they are giving her the least land. I think that is so messed up.

To me Kody waited till most of the children reached the age of 18 to avoid child support payments of any kind. He just became angry and more resentful of any time he was forced to interact with the other wives.

Didn't they say that Kody isn't listed on the birth certificates for all the kids? Not sure which ones he signed up for and which ones he didn't. Maybe he wouldn't be on the hook for support of any of them.

17:56 Robin found the most vulnerable wife, and set out to manipulate her out of having another child, out of going to college into helping her with the failed business, and she keeps her holding on thinking there’s hope. And after being with this man for 32 years in whatever way she still loves the jerk. And Robin keeps giving her hope. That’s why Mary wasted the last 7 to 10 years of her life. It’s all selfishness on Rob’s part. Robin cannot keep her own home, she cannot take care of her own children, but she must do something in the bedroom that she alluded the other women wouldn’t do, and that’s what keeps Cody coming back for more. He’s pretty proud of himself for bagging a woman, 20 years younger and then throwing it in all the other wives faces. He is an immature, narcissistic, misogynistic, troll.

Honestly, it's like he does not realize everyone sees his confessionals. He said something about how the producers, & he have a great sibling like relationship. No, they are not your friends or family. They are hanging out with you because they are getting paid to and they are showing your footage that makes you look like a horrible husband & father to the OG 3 & their kids.

@@jewelgazer I think she is capable of doing it, she just chooses not to, as she has managed to con others into doing it for her, by playing the damsel in distress. Robyn is lazy. I think on money management, she never has had to fully manage money as someone has always bailed her out... and she has never faced true consequences of her spending.

Watch, I think it’s season 16, where Kody expresses exasperation with plural marriage. Robyn says the women can leave but Kody can’t (another hint, an undoubted conversation with Kody). The episode where they are at Coyote Pass and all the wives are making snow angels. But in Kody’s confession cam, when asked if he’s happy seeing his wives frolic together, he responds that he’s jaded. There are other instances too where Kody is clearly disillusioned with plural marriage. My question is, when he obviously wanted to be done with 3 (maybe even 4!) wives, why wouldn’t he just let them go gracefully and at least salvage the relationship with his children, and maintain friendships with his former wives?

It’s interesting how I’ve read in diaries from pioneer times that one of the current wives would overhear the husband telling the new, young lady he was courting, “I’ve never felt before what I feel with you.” Or, “I’ve never been so in love before.” It had been so many years since Kody had felt those fluttering feelings of fresh falling in love that I don’t doubt but what he felt these kind of feelings and thoughts. It kills the “old” wives to hear and see such expressions. The pain is tremendous, of course. It’s exponentially worse, when they marry and consummate the marriage. We all know when we’re loved and when we’re not. To have to watch someone who’s “lost that lovin’ feeling” fall in love and be all hot and heavy for someone right under your nose…wow…that’s unbearably cruel. This form of marriage seems very destructive in multiple ways.

It is about money. The OG3 paid for Kody and Robyn’s lifestyle. And Kody don’t want to pay child support, had to keep them around until grown. He would only have to pay for Truly if it went to court.

I thought it was interesting when Meri, Robin and Kody were discussing the property and it was obvious that the property was not being divided equally in value . It appeared to be suggested that Meri didn't "deserve" as much of the property because she only had one child. I wonder if that is common in Polygamy for a wife to be valued less if she has fewer children?

Personally, I have nothing against plural marriage, live and let live… but the problem with this arrangement is the legal aspect. The one wife, legally married to Kody can claim everything. Listening to Robin one would think that she would share everything with the 3 other wives, in her ideal world she would like to sit with them on the porch watching the grand kids play. In reality, I think that Kody and Robin should ride together into the sunset but sharing everything fair and square with the other wives. Btw: I still think Janelle is the intellectual in this family, but in this last episode, Meri and Christine were incredibly smart and articulate in this interview. They made so much sense!

23:39 I don’t think Robin came into this for love. And I think now she feels trapped as the only wife with a man that won’t leave her alone. When Covid first hit, she cried and cried and cried because she didn’t wanna be the only wife and she didn’t wanna be responsible to make him happy 24/7. But literally she was already doing that anyway. And in reality, the older you get the less you care about romance, and even intimacy and would rather just have a booty call whenever it suits you. You don’t have to share a bed. You don’t have to put up with somebody’s messy lifestyle, you have your own home you take care of your own children, and you have fun whenever you want to. Oh wait, Robin has to have help. Notice how Cody takes her children to school and never took the other children to school. Notice how they could afford the nanny but Janelle can’t afford a place to live lots of hypocrisy and it’s notthat Christine was jealous because there was another wife. She was jealous because of the inequity in the treatment of the new wife. Even allowing her in the rotation before the wedding ceremony which was a big no-no.

They all lived in the same house until they were forced to move to Las Vegas because the police were about to arrest them. Which was around the time they came out to the public, and Robin came into the family. As far as Christine being jealous, she was that way long before Robin came into the family. Look back at the early shows and how demanding she could be at times. It was also Christine that completely refused to live in the same house with her sister wives. She wouldn't even look at the plans Kody had done for one big house for all of them to live in on coyote pass. Meri was the one who asked Kody to leave her house when she was talking and flirting with someone online. It wasn't until after she realized that she was being catfished, that she went running back asking Kody to forgive her. They have all played a part in the issues that they are dealing with including the adult children who turned on Kody because of his concerns over covid. It's really sad to see all the hurt and pain they are all going through as a result.

In either the LDS or FLDS church, can a single woman (either never married or divorced) go to heaven? I’m wondering if the reluctance to divorce Kody has more to do with worrying about their afterlife than what other religious folks might do. I’m sure leaving him threatens TLC money. But I feel there is a religious aspect non FLDS or LDS folks don’t understand. I feel the women get bad wraps for not moving on but if your afterlife is a risk I can understand the difficulty in leaving

Robyn needs the sister wives for their financial contributions to the “family.” Meri, Christine, and Janelle all have their own independent income streams. Robyn has never worked, conveniently joined the family when they got a reality show, and came into the marriage with $30,000 of credit card debt! The family used their savings to pay off her debt. Kody and Robyn don’t have any other income and are big spenders. See their cluttered mansion. She has never worked since entering the marriage and contributes nothing financially, unlike the other wives. Kody and Robyn NEED those marriages financially.

Mary has her own business and puts all of her funds into the "family" fund. Janelle works as well . With them leaving, Kody is the only breadwinner in the family. Robyn has a spending addiction so things will be tight for them as a couple.

I honestly don't think Robin came into the family with the intention of how it ended but I definitely think that she was disillusioned by what plural marriage ment , the rules and responsibilities of respect. Also she coming in from a monogamous marriage with 3 kids and trying to intervert there family's together into 1 close knit family is extremely hard in regular monogamous marriage, let alone a plural family who raised there kids together and pretty much had it figured out to function. Robin's exceptions where very unrealistic. If the other wives ( so it seems ) aired a grivence ( like her kissing before marriage witch she continued to do ) if the children did not naturally have the strength n bond that they had with the og3 , if they played to hard with her kids , if her family parenting suggestions to the whole were not agreed on or we'll received by the wives or kids , robin( it seemed) took it very personal. It also seemed that she wpuld cry , feign distress and it wpuld just pain her that her sisterwives were getting hurt by the favoritism and her selfishness but then turn around and do it over and over again. Acting naive, memory loss lol and then just straight up turn it all around on them . They didn't like her , her and her kids were victims of the family not accepting them and bullying them. And kody let it all happen. That's what it looks like to me .

I think you read on the various wives and Kody is spot on. I would imagine it would be pretty hard for him to find a new wife after he has behaved like this on television for everyone to see. She would have to be living under a rock. For anyone who doesn't know, The Dream Center is Brielle Decker's organization where she bought Warren Jeff's old house and transformed it into a shelter/community centre. They did a whole video tour in a previous video where you can see the rooms and everything.

Kody just wanted to be supported by the 3 First Wives, he wanted them to act like everything’s great and keep that TLC money rolling in. He wanted the wives to pay off Coyote Pass and build properties so he could rent or sell them for his benefit. Robyn is sporting a diamond ring and a gold ‘horse’ ring like Kody’s. Thank goodness K&R didn’t waste the money paying for Ysabelle’s surgery! Luxuries are so much more important for them🤨🧐🤢!

When you grew up in FLDS did you notice any of the "husband" behavior that Kody has continually shown? He puts blame and responsibility onto the wives whether it be for the demize of the marriage or the responsibility of fixing the marriages and the way that he wants the wives to get their children in line. He relies on the wives to fix everything and does none of the work himself.

We find out that Robin asked Kody to promise he wouldn’t ever lead her on if he fell out of love w her so Robyn knew he was not in love w his other wives. On the tell all she said she didn’t know he didn’t love the original three wives. She is a liar. She is only interested in the original wives finances. Yes he wanted a monogamous marriage to Robyn, that's what it's seemed like for a very long time. Through all the "I don't understand!" "That's not true!" "It's not my fault!" yeah the whole reason his marriages fell apart is because he stopped trying because he just wanted a monogamous marriage to Robyn 100%. He just had to gaslight us for a few years first.

Financially, Robyn would be a food to leave Kody. Arizona is a community property state and she is the only legit spouse, so she is entitled to 50% of all the assets she shares with Kody.

I'm confused about the "covenant" in his marriages. Is this like a verbal contract? Is it similar between marriages? Is this something that a fiance can negotiate with their spouse? I realize it isn't a legal contract but it seems to me in this last season that some of what is at the heart of the argument is whatever their marriage "covenant" is with Kody. To me this sounds like a verbal contract. Am I wrong in thinking of it in this way? I get that it is an oath between the person and God, I am just so confused by how it is presented.

I think it’s a good idea, for many reasons, to not encourage legal polygamy. You can’t spread the love and responsibilities in reality to that many wives and children. And the women knew what they were getting into (that they weren’t legally married). Anyone can have a contract with one another and multiple parties which is what they should have done. I thought at one point they mentioned having a contract of some sort?

But they know they have no legal rights when they tie into such a relationship. They could protect themselves by getting assets in their individual names. He's still legally obligated to pay child support/insurance for minor children regardless of legal marriage.

Meri has been with Kody for over 30yrs, They got married in the 80s. It's been a lot longer than even 25yrs for those two, so it's totally not fair for Meri and the wives that have been there for 25yrs + that they aren't legally entitled to anything of Kody's after decades of marriage. Even though he's not legally obligated, he's very much morally obligated to them for the years of sacrifice that they made to him and try to make that very dysfunctional polygamous marriage work mostly for his sake. I think Robyn is full of bunk when it comes to really wanting to be in a polygamous marriage. Robyn is very demanding of all of Kody's attention, and she doesn't like to compromise on anything when it comes to getting her own way. None of the other wives were a consideration when Robyn has decided what she wants to do. As long as she's getting her way it never mattered what the other wives wanted. She can barely tolerate Kody spending time with the other wives even though she the youngest and thinks of herself as the most attractive of all of the wives. Robyn really doesn't want to share Kody at all, she's more in love with the idea of plural marriage than she is of actually being in one. She would absolutely lose it if Kody were to find himself a couple of younger hotter new wives to marry. At this point that's what she deserves to have happen so she can see how she's made her sister wives feel for all of these years..

21:02 you have to remember what a covert narcissist does, as in Robin, you complain, behind-the-scenes, and that’s where you get the knife in the kidneys reaction and you’ve never been a good sister wife, and you never tried with Robin, all the time she’s crying publicly for the demolishing of the family which she orchestrated behind the scenes. And Cody is too flummoxed to see through her manipulation. The manipulation of Mary is very obvious if you’re looking for it. But I had a bosses wife that did this, he would make a statement and say this is the new policy. This is what we’re gonna do and he would leave the room and she truck right along after him and 20 minutes later he would come back with his mind changed. Now we have the magic of TLC cameras and very sparse episodes that are over a year old now that we’re seeing them where we just don’t see filming inside Robbins home. There was one dinner scene where everybody’s all up in arms about the art on the wall when he’s $5000 behind in property taxes and Janelle has no place to live. And he knew Janelle would have no place to live, but he still raked her over the coals for buying the RV. As long as it’s something Robin wants then there’s no problem. Have you noticed she has a new ring on have you noticed he has a new ring on. And yet both Mary and Christine gave them money from the sale of their homes and now he’s cheating them on property. I’m not sure the laws in whatever state it is. They’re living in right now, but when you spend that many years with a person whether you’re legally married or not, there is legal precedence for getting a property settlement based on the contribution to the relationship. I really hope Janelle and Mary go see a lawyer and see if they have any recourse to what Cody‘s trying to cheat them out of.

It's difficult for me to agree w a single thing klown Kodi does, thinks feels or displays. I just can NOT w this guy. Makes my skin crawl but....just for shits & giggles: imagine ur mate a d remember the beginning or first decade of ur relationship. Remember how that felt? I was almost INSANE about my ex-husband. Iwt spend every second of every day w him when we were good. Couldn't get enough of em. Now...imagine him leaving YOUR house to go to another one of "the wives" house! Imagine how that mite feel. I assume that would be identical or exactly how klown Kodi would feel.
