I think post ex7, I'm starting to warm up to Zephagamon's playstyle. The new support gives the deck a lot of good tools and ngl having a protagonist deck that's fully green feels great. Though in terms of Liberator decks, I'm so hyped for Royal Base, more than anything else we've seen from that series, and it's not even close.

Yeah I initially wasn’t too interested in Zephaga until I tried it and then understood how fun the lines on the upper end are. Also Royal base seems Sooooo cool! Can’t wait to try it out when it drops!

I feel like it fills the same spot as pheonixmon does in bt16, great cards, fun gameplay and a clear strategy that’s just a little too fair to really pop off.

I'd like to see decklists including the new Hexablaumon line. I'm hoping blue source strip becomes playable again with that line and the bt18 Tommy line. Bandai might be scared after bt7 Tommy dominance though.

Maybe puppets just needs to get a bit more solved. I saw digimon meta posted 2 topping puppets from the 8th. The start of the meta is always the Wild West.

@@Royicethepkmnmaster Not just that, but puppets have a lot of options compared to 2just spam Petromon line". For example; do you want Shoemon base; or do you want Chessmon? Do you want strict aggro; or more control effects like Shoeshoemon promo which can give sec-1. Which tamers do you want; fast evo? Playing lv3's? Rush? And then there's the fact that there's more puppet archetypes than just Shoe. Chessmon is entirely puppets. Monzaemon is puppet. Etemon is puppet [Although Metaletemon is cyborg; you have Kingetemon]. All of these archetypes are also yellow!

Man I'm glad to see Linkz Dragons being good, just that why didn't they give us another Hina to go in the deck 😭😭😭 I've never liked the feeling of only having 4 copies of a tamer that's needed/very helpful in the deck (Looking at you Bagra Army, give me another Yuu plz)

You attack on end of turn with vortex then trigger something that unsuspends you and end your turn doing the check with piercing then unsuspending to being able to block

Mirage remains being relevant after all this time, Bandai might hit it again soon. Also, I need some explanation on how Imperialdramon became so strong. In BT16 it is fine, but not tier 1, how much the option and paladin mode change the way the deck plays to become so powerful?

Its not just the option and ace but the tamer as well. Imperial now have a way to save their stack from battle deletion, and they can swing end of turn thanks to their dual tamer. So their aggro is greatly increased and they can either save their stack from being removed or get value from it being removed. Only de-digivolve really gets atound them. The option can even save your from dp minus if its not high enough to kill.

Imperal is Tier 1 in BT16. The BT16 Tier 1 is Imp; Magna and Nume.

Not really. It essentially is a search and cost -1 evolve, and pound for pound in most cases I would just prefer a scramble card instead.

I understand that the shoto kazuma tamer is great in 7GDL because it helps you block early aggression, but you'd think they'd play more than 2 copies so they actually get to utilize it earlier and more frequently right? .... right??? The deck does very well into any deck that deletes (numemon, Omni ace, etc) and the deck has a lot of room for skill expression.

OK; so the Numemon deck got figured out in BT15; and has been a Top 3 deck since BT15. Marcus got hit sinply for being a Top... 5 maybe deck for several metas. And NOTHING in BT18 is fast enough to control it [In fact half the set is dedicated to a very slow archetype that Nume will just run over] At this point there's no more excuse Bandai. Numemon needs a banlist hit.

You can play any tamer in any deck, and Shoto gives any Digimon Piercing/Blocker.

Problem with Mirage is the jamming. They restricted the jamming egg already and the best level 5. Would have to restrict jamming betamon and gaogamon. Maybe the gaoga? For Numemon they could restrict NumeX and see how that goes. What do you think?
