I loved what I read in the Alchemicals core book. I had completely forgotten they could become metropoli. My one problem with the Alchemical core book was that the book was written with the assumption that the reader was comprehensively familiar with all the lore/mechanics stuff published at that point, including the online only stuff. I didn't even know WW was publishing stuff online until I asked a friend after reading this book.
If there wasn't a transformers reference somewhere in this video, I would have been very disappointed, but I didn't expect to hear a guyver reference one as well. Also, it sounds like these exalted turn into Metroplex, Fortress Maximus, or any other titan/city transformer as they reach the end of their life span
Yep. But once they hit city-stage, they cease to be mobile. They can still grow in size, but they are pretty much stuck in place. An in-game workaround I and player came up with is that the Alchemical can create a 'remote controlled' body, sort of like EDI from Mass Effect.
@Lazar of Stygia I think taking that route is a good idea it would be kind of like the transformer Fortress Maximus in a way, that character is a head master so he's not permanently at city size. I feel that all these alchemical exalted should be able to make a micro-sized body to continue running around but say that small body has a sort of battery life and has to head back to the plug-in port after how ever long depending on how often he's had to use his powers sense last unplugging from his main body. You could also have it that there could be effects that can interfere with his Wi-Fi connection to his main body resulting in that player "DCing" during combat at times because he forgot to bring his signal booster that evening
glad to hear different types of jade got mentioned. I got to look into the colors of jade for a project in college. Its really amazing what colors they can come in. you can almost make a full rainbow plus white and black
Wow I had no idea about the last section you mention about Exalted. I sort of just stopped with the kung fu and eastern elemental dragon stuff as far as I could understand as a kid back then when the books were out.
Bro, these Exalted videos are EXCELLENT! (pun intended!) What would you think about making videos highlighting named examples of each Exalted caste in the lore?
Well.....I had no idea that Alchemicals could get THAT weird. Nice video. I am curious on how you will cover the remaining Exalted. The Infernal Exalted, the Chosen of Malfeas. The Liminal Exalted, the Chosen of the Dark Mother. The Getimian Exalted; the , according to the wiki, walking Paradoxes unleashed on Creation in a war against the Loom of Fate. And they weren't the only playable classes. There were Mortal Heroes, Fair Folk, Dragon Lords, Mountain Folk, etc. White Wolf has a lot of stuff to cover.
@@lazarofstygia2241 Ah. Okay. Still, good luck on researching the Infernals and other gamelines. Just to let you know, according to the wiki, the Infernal got an update on class names in 3rd Edition. Slayer Caste is now Azimuth. Malefactor Caste is Ascendant. Defiler is Horizon. Scourge is Nadir. And the Fiend Cast is the Penumbra Caste.
