I was there two years ago for my Erasmus and I think their system is hard and require significant effort. My grades were like 17-14-11-1 :) Very good slope down 😀
Hey, I'll come to Kortrijk next spring if everything goes well. What are your thoughts on the social life in Belgium? I don't know anything about French or Dutch (as an Englishman) so could it be any issue for me whilst studying?
Hi, you definitely don't have to. Or at least in Leuven they knew English almost everywhere you went (except taxi driver but I think he just didn't want to talk to us 😅) . And on the social life, I cannot judge. I didn't meet to many people due to covid situation...

I've heard that Belgium has been one of the most English-friendly countries since I traveled across Europe in 2010s; however, it had made me confused :). I wish we wouldn't face off any Covid restrictions in the coming years.
Hello, during your video you say that you took a time off form work, being a EEA student do you think it is easy to get a part time job in Leuven? Where do you recommend to look for jobs?
The main university library on Ladeuzeplein. But it's not really comfortable. You have to leave your things in a locker downstairs and then there are plastic tablecloth and small chairs everywhere 🙈
hi, I study engineering in Italy, but I was thinking of doing a Master of Science (la magistrale) in Mechanical Engineering here at KU Leuven? Do you think it'll be significantly harder than here in Italy? Because otherwise, if it's too hard, I'd consider DTU, the Technical University of Denmark, although I'd prefar the program offered at KU (+ do you know any difference between KU Leuven and UC Louvain, just a translation?) I can only compare Czech CTU and KUL. Those two are pretty similar in difficulty but in Belgium the grading is more strict. However with Italy unis I have no experience. So sorry for not answering your question.
@@Psoutput Thanks a lot! For some strange reason I thought you were from Italy too haha, btw I found out that KUL and UCLouvain are two different schools (KUL is in Leuven/Louvain, while UCL is in Louvain-la-Nueve). The reason for my concern was that here in Italy we have 3-4 exams per semester, ranging from 6 ects, to 9, 12 or even 15 (but the sum for each semester is 30 ects), while I've seen that in other parts of Europe (Belgium, Denmark) they have a semester with 6 exams of 5 ects each (usually) and that scared me a bit haha. Did you have to do 6 exams too in 1 month? If you could give some feedback!
