the way damage reduction ends up working in efficient output though is that the seemingly reduced amount of damage reduction is actually very effective. Going from 80% to 87% damage reduction is not 7% more damage reduction. It's that first you take 100% damage (20%), and then you take less damage, which for this example is 65% more damage reduction. 2000 damage goes to 1300 on an example hit.

So i have a question, if i am at rb2 where def/4 becomes more efficient than def bonus +2% shoudn`t i change my r4 and r5 def bonus to def/4 aswell? or the set counts the level you were in that particullary rebirth rather than the level you are now?
it counts by level. You noticed the level of Exc boss and golden eggs. Level type options dpends on your level, the higher your level, the higher amount of stats it can give you. Lv400 Rb1-Lvl800 Rb2-Lv1200 etc. DEF+LVL/4 gives higher amount of def thand def bonus because def bonus only gives additional 2% def each part. Yes you can change but its too early. Almost small difference because you are only in RB2. but you can make another set with def+lvl/4 its good also.
@PabloCampos-gd5mv It depends on your level. in higher RB, you dont need anymore some options, like Exc res rate, since in higher RB, its more on Fatal and Deadly dmg. players focus more on fatal at deadly and crit , so no need to have exc resistance. So you can replace it with other options like def +4 for extra def, or hp8 for hp.

You can remove dmg red in gears if you have damage reds from accesories, and wings. or when your dmg is already at 80%. i think dmg red only works in normal attacks. Final damage red is for all atk damage reduction.
