Fast question. I just got this and I've been looking at the rulebook and I can't find what the number in Boost represents. Yes I can sacrifice a card to use a boost, but why are some zero? Some attacks show a boost with a number at the top, assuming that's the cost to pay. When does Boost effects happen? Pluses with zero in it, do I have to pay? That boost number really confuses me. That's the only rule I don't understand.
As of season 6 (GG is season 7), they started changing the boosts under the normal attacks to better fit the seasonal mechanic (in this case, cancel). This comes with its own advantages and drawbacks, as you can guess.
1+ Hour games? Sounds pretty normal to me. But, uh... I seriously doubt most people play as ridiculously defensive as I have in the past. Also most people don't play with the ridiculously long con characters I do, either lol
