Still no word from Microsoft. I think they’ve held it because additional functions are getting added that tie into LAMBDA. They may be waiting to test those out and release them all together.
I probably won't create a video for it but if you take some of the examples in this video you can envision how XLOOKUP would work. Just reference a parameter like x as an XLOOKUP function. This XLOOKUP video may help as well: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-xxX8XiuKFEY.html
I have 365, but this Lambda function is still not available even if I have installed all updates. It is frustrating to see, how useful this function is and not to be able to use it. This doesn't give good impression about the policy how Microsoft treat their customers.
@@SeleTraining Thank you for your answer. So, we outsiders are still waiting. If it helps the process that first the insiders test the functionality, maybe it is good in the long run.
Potentially. You can create a LAMBDA function based on any formula you want and you can pass a range of data as the parameter variables so it should work but I haven't worked through that process to confirm it.
HEY I HOPE YOU ALL KEEPING WELL, I NEED SOME HELP GUYS FOR MY WEEKLY TIME TABLE... EXAMPLE; FOR RAW, IF I PUT 1 ON B1 IS THERE ANYWAY EXCEL FILL THE REST FOR ME UNTIL H1... SO IF I PUT 1 ON B1 AND PRESS ENTER C1 APPEAR 2 D1 3 , E1 4, F1 5, G1 6 H1 7, AND SAME AGAIN IF I PUT 8 ON B1 AND EXCEL AUTOMATICALLY FILL THERE REST NUMBER FOR ME UNTIL 14. AND IF I PUT B1 15 AND SAME AGAIN FILL THE REST NUMBER FOR ME, I DONT KNOW IF THERE IS ANY FORMULA FOR THIS... HOPE YOU HELP ME... THANKS ....
Assuming you're always doing the same 7 cells, you can set C1's formula to "=B1+1" then drag it over to H1 with the fill handle. Save this worksheet as a template, and then whatever you type in B1 will auto-update the rest of the week, and you can use this for future weekly time tables. This will work with days of the month, as well as actual dates.
