Is there a way to make a custom function label the inputs as you type them? For example, in Excel’s “DATE” function, it lists “year”, “month”, and “day” as you’re typing to help you remember the inputs. Is this possible with custom functions?

I tried your function and it worked for me. If I type "=aa(7)" in a cell, it will give 8. All I can think of for you is the VBA code has to be in a module contained in the same workbook you are trying to use the function in. If you open a new workbook and try to use the function, it won't work. Although there may be a way to make a function available to all workbooks, I don't know.
